Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I don't have cable soooo....... not a problem
Same. Paying for TV is a waste of money. Haven't paid for TV ever in my life.

I don't watch trailers anymore because I find they give away most of the movie.

The trailer for Black Mass is done well. Doesn't give away the story and it looks pretty good.

Watched This is where I leave you this past weekend. Not a bad movie, good watch. Stars Bateman, Fay, Adam Driver and a bunch of other folks. Some cringe worthy humour but funny overall.

Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox. oldie but goodie. tied as my favourite comic book movie next to Dark Knight Returns Pt. II.

Went and seen Mad Max last night, the movie was...meh ok kinda boring, no story line really & the guy on the guitar mobile...WTF was that? It sounded like the the theme for a land JAWS a useless stupid idea for a bunch of cars chasing the hero, personally I like the original much better!

Yup. Watched the Road Warrior again after watching Fury Road and Road Warrior felt like a breath of fresh air. Another thing that made Road Warrior superior was the absolutely awesome Brian May soundtrack. Music in Fury Road was weak to non-existent.

Did you see that Machinima is going to be hosting a series AND the movie is out, or did you just see the reference about the movie? ;)

i meant i saw thh trailer for it. it's got an early 2000 feeling about it and i can't wait to watch it. just waiting for weekend.

You had me almost going back to watch it just for the music until I realized (thank you friend Google) that it wasn't Brian May of Queen.

Holy crap, all these years I thought it was the Queen guitarist! Totally different composer. But it is one of the the greates action movie soundtracks nonetheless.

Just finished watching Whiplash via Netflix. As a musician, I enjoyed it alot!

I've seen a bunch of movies in the last week or so and I have to agree with you Whiplash was awesome. I watched two of my favorites from the 80's as well. The original Mad Max and Road Warrior. Fury Road stunk compaired to the originals. They should have brought toe cutter back instead of the new character. Another flick that may have been mentioned before was the Fastest Indian. This was a good clean movie. Low budget but very entertaining.

Just about to watch Jurssic World. Will let y'all know how I like it. Stoked either way. I haven't seen dinosaurs in the big screen in a very long time.

Going to check it out on Monday also, looks pretty wild!

"Kingsman" - Oh, the plot holes, but such a fun movie. the fight scenes were very impressive. The supermodel with 'stiletto heels' was an odd touch.

*EDIT* Forgot to mention that the denouement damned near completely screwed up a great film, as it was about as subtle as a brick to the 'nads. The only drawback to me.
