Post a Squid

Started riding on the road in 89, rode squid most of the time( didn't even know it back then), more recently, watching utube has me reaching for the the gear. Most rides I wear shift textile jacket with armour, full face, boots, and armoured gloves. However, when the temps climb, I've been known to sport a t shirt, helmet, jeans, boots, and gloves. Lol Im definitely more of a "you do you and I'll do me guy". I have been down, at speed on the 401. I have hit every tree in ontario off road through the years. I am aware.

What's wrong with a passenger wearing a 2 piece Dainese suit? Good quality gear is a no brainer.

My GF always wears her gear when riding two up. Rather have my fillet mignon not turn into hamburger.

Can't wait to see your woman in her booty shorts, tank top and sandals!! ;)

Should I post some gruesome before/after car accident pics too? How about some bicycle pics? How would that make any difference?


Bottom line is.. what other people wear is no one else's business. This thread topic is very argumentative by nature and naturally there will be troll posts to stir the pot.

Encouraging someone to ride without gear when they are uncomforable doing so is not right. Neither is forcing gear down people's throats.

I wear gear.. not all the time.. but that's my choice too.
