Yes we have a ton of fun.
But not everone can slip away from work midweek though. You are welcome to join anytime. ( I am one of those cruiser riders though). I am working this Wednesday, but am considering a two day trip along the northshore of Lake Erie for the week after then the 507 etc after that.
 
Anyone Interested I taking a tour along the north shore of Lake Erie from Port Dover to Windsor? Leave Toronto Sept. 25
return on the 26th? Details to follow.
 
Thanks for the invite, working both days:( We still need to do a breakfast at that place on Beechgrove.
 
hmmm.... where and what time you leaving 25th? and approx time be back on the 25th? camping or motel?

Hi Rafiki911, ya the breakfast is good there. Keep your eyes posted, as I plan to do the 507 again this fall.

Hi 3M TA3, I plan to leave at the ungodly hour of 6:00 am (hopfully beat rush hour and make Port Dover for breakfast). The plan is to stay in motel in or around Windsor.
Slab it back on the (401) on the 26th to make it back by mid afternoon.

ok... no problem... might just hook up on your 507 ride... wana get a good ride before it really gets cold...
 
Ok, so I got my work done early, (sort of) and have Wednesday off...

So if anyone is interested...I plan to do the 507.

Meet up: Timmies Kingston rd. (Hwy 2) just east of Port Union (south side)

Time: 8:00 am head out 8:15

Arrive full tank - empty bladder....
 
Are there any spots/must see places you could recommend? whenevr i have nothing to do, i usually ride up around lake simcoe and lake scugog for the views on wednesdays around 11.

would join you but i finish class at 10.

By 10, I hope to be past Lindsay.
You could try Winchester Road, Anninas Bakery (Goodwood), Forks of the Credit etc....

Thanks, the 507 was great. No traffic...
Not doing the Algonquin ride made plans with about 40 riders to Lake on the Mountain.
 
The fall colors were awesome! I made it to Lindsay in an hour and took a scenic backroad (Beaver Lake Rd.) off the 507. While taking some pictures a passing driver stopped and asked if I needed some help. I forgot how nice people can be when living outside T.O. After lunch at Cow and Sow in Fenelin Falls a quick boot home put a big smile on my face. Till next time.
