First, I would complain to the dealer that put the plate frame on there to begin with. They would probably tell me to kick rocks, but its worth a try.

I actually paid attention to plate trims this morning...some of them even covered most of the "Ontario" at the top. Now for sure that would be a valid plate obstruction....no? Did anyone post up the actual HTA regarding this?

Me too. Thousands of plates covered. Took my lightly tinted covers off just the same though, who needs the ******** and knowing how I can be just as tactless as I can be diplomatic I figure best not to be in the situation in the first place.

OP, the worst case should have been a gentle warning. The cop was being a ****** nozzle.
