Without question, one of the most coveted motorcycles on the planet amongst collectors, especially the Vincent "Black Shadow".
This is my 39 year old bike, it took me 1 1/2 years to get it to this point.

So far she rides like a dream...I had her up to 80mph yesterday on a back road and absolutely steady as a rock.
I've been inching up towards the ton, but I want to take it easy until I'm sure everything is just right.
The timing and carbs seem to be fully dialed in. Idles perfect, there are no flat spots in the throttle and the bike has more balls than I do. She just wants to go go go when you twist the throttle.
I get a lot of nods from both the sportbike and Harley crowd, it seems like a vintage bike is a "bridge" between the two cultures.
Everyone who sees her smiles and nods...

Spiider; I like your analogy... vintage bikes, particularly the Honda 750 four and Kawi Z1, really are well accepted by both camps. Nobody can deny the roots of the modern superbike, and why Harley had to up the ante in order to survive against Japanese innovation and quality.
