Predictions For Collectible Bikes In The future.

Are you riding a rare bike? Think it'll be something special in the future?...nominate your predictions on what a motorcycle collector must have in his/her collection in a few years from now.

MUST Post year/make/model of bike and a brief description why (fyi; just because you own one is not a valid reason).

Rules: Post picture
Only motorcycles imported to Canada/USA
Let's cap the year @ 1980 or newer
Has to be factory produced, no backyard chimp bikes.

For example: I'll say 2000 Kawasaki's W650, it's rare...limited production years (only 99/00) last year made and was considered the black sheep compared to triumphs Bonnie. Not to mention I loved the kick start :)

The Honda DN1

Not popular at production and not to many kicking around. I aint saying its a good bike (But i would own one for the fun on it)

1988/1989 Honda CB1 400cc liquid cooled in-line 4 cylinder. very few came to the states, many of those that did becmae race bikes and are gone now. Very fun bikes, very fast for a 400 and rare.

A few bikes that already have a "Cult" following, In nice condition are selling for almost as much as they cost when new and are rare for a varity of reasons included short productions runs that I think should be added to this list include (But not limited to)

1987/1988 Honda Magna (AKA Super Magna)
1984-1986 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk-S
1983/1984 Honda VT500 Ascot
1988-1991 Honda NT650 Hawk GT
1986/1987 Yamaha Fazer

1987/1988 Yamaha Phazer

I second the Yamaha FZX750S FAZER for a nomination.

Hey Outlaws Justice, the spelling needs to be corrected and they only came to North America in 1986/1987
The '87's had all the Chrome Blacked-out.
The Ascot, Nighthawk S, and the CB-1 are all my favourites too!

Cheers!

Yamaha R7

HyungSung250! (The yellow naked one they use for training courses)
must have scratches and dents to increase value

ZX6?
CBR600?
GSXR600?
Everybody and his brother had one?
Collectible bikes are usually rare and distinguished.
I can see adding maybe TLR and S?
Stuff like that. But CBR's? GSXR's?????
