No more license stickers…

Dumb question - are we supposed to remove the stickers from our bikes or leave them on? I could imagine riding in different jurisdictions they could use that as a reason to pull you over if it appears to be expired.

You can remove them for ontario. Not a bad point about other jurisdictions. I figure the front plate is an immeasurably higher heat score in most other jurisdictions and we cant get rid of that.

Moot point once the redundant sticker that’s on there now “expires”.

The only reason I have a lot of toys, is that I am old and retired, and can finally afford the toys I wanted when I was younger. I also sold my Oakville house and am moving to Peterborough so I can be closer to the cottage where I can enjoy the toys. View attachment 54449

That's a clever way to mention that you own the cottage as well. And I thought my $838 sticker cheque was big.

So my sticker expired this month and I went online to "renew"...I received a receipt via email that shows my license plate renewed for $0.00...maybe keep this on your device or print a hard copy just in case?...we're going to the US (hopefully) this summer and didn't think about it...hubby already peeled the stickers off of his license plates (truck and motorcycle)...oh no...:unsure:o_O

You don’t need stickers anymore so you’ll be fine.
Same as how drivers from other provinces and the US can drive here without a front plate, you should be fine in other provinces and in the US without the sticker.

I printed a copy and will put it in each car.

I don’t think you’ll have any issue.

Still no official announcement on safeties. Typo or unintended release?

Overview
We are combining emissions testing and safety inspections for heavy diesel commercial motor vehicles in a single digital program, called DriveON.

Starting in 2023, DriveON will introduce a new, more convenient vehicle safety inspection process for owners of passenger vehicles.

The new DriveON program will:

save commercial motor vehicle owners time and money
reduce fraud
reduce harmful emissions
ensure vehicles are safe for our roads
The DriveON program will roll out starting with vehicle emissions testing facilities in Spring 2022, followed by motor vehicle inspection stations later this year. Existing motor vehicle safety inspections stations will be contacted to explain the transition process, beginning in Summer 2022.
