No more kc!!!!!

At 9:45 the police said "we'll give you 15 mins to get out of here" but I had just bought a bagel and XL tea and was like "but I won't be able to finish my food" and they said "15 mins, that's it!".

I rolled out to Coffee time, nobody there. Went to L&L, nobody there, Went to Hard Rock, nobody there!! =)

Such a nice night for a ride! =)

Ya I was there with my buddy, as I made an exit from 401 a cop did the exit with me and went straight to KC, when I got there two cop cars were parked there....we went for timmies...waited for half hour, saw a bunch of riders coming in and going out but no one was there :( so we went for a long up north night riding......pitch black...boy it was lots of fun :D

wow.

What am I missing here? Police won't let you go to Tim Horton's of you're on a motorcycle?
They asked the people in cars to leave too. The property owner (not tim hortons) doesn't want ANYONE hanging out in the parking lot, reguardless if you've just purchased something from the stores there or not.

I've never been there, but most mall parking lots have signs saying something like "Customer Parking Only. 1 hour max.". If they do, this would go against their own policy (or even bylaw?).

There are no signs posted at KC iirc.

I see. Time to change your signature then! ;)

Kinda dumb isn't it, if you have a business there. Wouldn't you want actual customers to come to you? This smacks of overzealousness to me.

A day or two ago the owner/manager of Tim Hortons asked the police and property owner to TOP the harassment on his customers. He said he sales were noticeably down since the crackdown! Guess it fell on deaf ears =(

Timmies business might be effected by the crack down but, the landlord has a greater responsibility for the common areas of the property. If folks are pulling donuts and burnouts in the parking lot (bikes or cages), the landlord/property management/land owner has a responsibility to do something about it. They also pay significant liability insurance for commercial property. If it's generally known this type of activity occurs on a regular basis and somene get's killed, the property owner/landlord/property management can face some major law suits. They can also be denied insurance, face rate increases and even be denied a claim if it's proven they knew of the activity and did nothing about it.

I've been going there only for the past two years or so and I've never seen or heard of anyone pulling donuts or burns in the parking lot. I went there yesterday and saw way too many cars and unfamiliar faces so I just rolled through... literally. Did anyone **** around last night?

There's a nice link to a Youtube video in the opening post. Watch it and you'll see.

Don't know about KC, i haven't had any troubles from there yet. but then again I'm not there in the late late night hours there. I came back from L&L not too long ago, and i swear there was more people there than KC. Don't know if it is because it's a Thursday night type thing of if it is like that every night. Don't see why the cops should care, because at L&L, there wasn't anything that would come close as being unsafe or whatever they always look for.
