No more kc!!!!!

/me waits for the 403 & Dundas crackdown. Unfortunately the few usually spoil it for the many. Personally I think it's ****ing hilarious.

You know your freaking old when you think, **** why do they keep miss-spelling KFC

Wasn't there a similar thread some 4 or 5 years ago about the "R"?

Cheers to all you K"F"C peeps.

Another thing is that wherever "bikers" go they don't buy ****. Stop been cheap and if you go to L&L at least buy a juice or bottle of water at the supermarket so they get happy and stop kicking people out.

If you go to the Monday night Ice cream buy a damm ice cream, if you go to burrito boys buy a damm burrito. Smszing how many people i see not buying even a drink but taking a parking spot.

End of rant

I dropped by KC last night, a lot of popos there kicking people out if they see you just standing there by your ride.
I chilled at the timmies for a while with a few friends till around 12ish and got no trouble from them. I think it's mostly the car drivers burning out that caused the cops to show up, ruining it for the rest of the people who just want to have a chilling time.

so are the cops going to be there every wed night for the rest of the season? that's a lot of over time

@icecube I hear they're going to be on a solid raid for about a month.

I went to the Metro lot to meet my buds, we were there from 8pm - 10:30ish before they came around and gave us the verbal warning that we would receive tickets for trespassing if they saw us there 20 min. from the time of the warning.

Mostly cars were being pulled over, and it was only when they started to leave the "private property", my guess is so the Hwy traffic act could be enforced.

*shrug*...it's always the minority of idiot drivers/riders that ruin it for everyone else.

lol...the bb spot on tuesday had a popo just driving up and down the street...guess why!...cuz the week before, retards were ripping it up and down the street...it's residential people...stop ruining it for the rest of us...and yes, if you show up at a spot for a particular food outlet, nothing wrong with showing some support...the popo shouldn't need to waste resources on us at a hang out...eventually they will get fedup with that and the complaints and just kick us out...and we all know the examples...

Those who made it to Fairview found it was actually a pretty sweet spot...Too bad there's no timmies up there =D Saw all the cars leaving as we just entered...too bad but atleast we got a parade =P P.S. Toronto Indy Track is set up ;) Watch out for random gates and hard corners

Why can't the cops **** off. At least it wasn't going down on a public road! Long gone are the times of cops saying "well it's better than doing crime"

nvm

Jay z lines - I'm on to the next one.

So on to the next new meet up spot or w/e.

I've been trying to make it out to KC last few weeks to see what its all about, but I'm allways busy Wednesday nights. Guess it doesn't matter now.

Some bikers met with the manager at Coffee Time at Progress and Midland and they said "WE OWN THE PROPERTY, USE US ALL YOU WANT!" so we took our business there and everyone bought something, so they were happy!

Yay for WiFi, Poppy Seed bagels and Higgins Burke tea WOOT!!!

-Jamie M.

Too bad it smells like a dirty mexican restaurant bathroom in that area...

Hehehe... Thanks for making me smile!

But what's "L&L"?

Leslie and Lakeshore.
If you go there, make sure you don't park in the grocery store's half of the lot, they call the police to get you to move to the Timmies half.

bahahhah!! protect and serve at its finest right there

This. Also, past shenanigans have led to what is pretty much the "zero tolerance" policy most places have on these ricer-type events nowadays. Back before Fast and the Furious, there were actual drag races LOL.

Given the amount of nonsensical media hype, negative police attention, and that whole "street racing law" thing, I'm surprised people do this kinda crap at all anymore.

Back in the old days cops were the same as they are now. If the stores or the management of the mall/strip plaza/whaterver called the cops, they would give cops permission to issue writs of trespass. It has always been this way. I am from the "back in the day" crowd. We did not crap where we ate. We did not race to where we were going to race. Cars then were set up for drag racing only, they did not corner, hell my car had a spool in the back so I had to plan my lane changes well in advance. At Morningside and Lawrenece we went and got permission from management. We policed our own. You did something stupid around there, you were treated as an outsider. It is amazing how well that works. But you need a large core group to pull it off. We did not race in 43 division. We drove miles away to race, and got hounded by cops in that area. Cops in 43 division did not bother us at all, because we behaved.

I think the one of the things that have changed between 'back in the day' and now is insurance and/or liability, and the greater awareness and need for it.

If you were the owners of KC or any place for that matter, surely you don't want to be held liable for something that were to happen on your property.

This is a good point, but I think the HTA 172 factors into the equation in a big way! What I mean is the HTA 172 has given the cop the power to be judge, jury and executioner. This breeds a new cop attitude, which I don't think anyone can deny when you look back over the past couple of years. Know what I mean?

It probably hasn't helped, but police were cracking down on things like this before HTA 172. I was shooed away a few times when I was having a coffee with my friends (quite inconspicuously I might add) because there were others in the parking lot doing the usual silliness, burnouts, revving engines, etc.
