Just be sure that you are ready for a bigger bike you buy it. That's all.
True enough, but like any new bike it takes a few weeks to get the feel.

I think you're moving too soon. Ur still a noob, no offense. Ride your bike to the limit before you think you need a liter bike. See if u can handle your bike on the track. See if you can use your full tire. Get more seat time in, then some more. THEN get a liter bike. The naked Kwai 1000cc is still primo insurance $$
Yea, but my bud has a 1K (R1) and I'm sick of him passing me![]()
This thread would be so much better with a video Rodney..
I agree, but according to my Insurance company (Jevco), ANYTHING Ducati will cost me a ***** load. I recently did a quote with them on an R1 which is a super-sport and was quoted over 5K/.yr!!!! And while talking my broker he mentioned that that all Ducati's fall into that super-sport categoryTOTAL bummer. So it has to be non-super-sport and non-Ducati for me ATM.
Jevco is always high on supersports, try and get a quote with State Farm, you'll be surprised how much cheaper it is.
Ninja 1000.
Looks like a SS but its way more comfortable, versatile and better on insurance.
Its an excellent street liter bike.
.
Lol, when do you really want to shift from first? 140? An R1 can do thatEspecially 1st having to gear-up at 70KM and that's pushing it.
+1. For your age, and the type of bike you are considering you need to give State Farm a call.
