Need Help! Frustrated because i cant find a bike in my budget

Why is that unreal? The wife pays $37 a month for hers and this is her first year with an M2 and she's under 30.

As for the OP trust me screw the used 250 market and walk into a dealer and buy one new. You can finance it inexpensive and it's open so pay it off early and it won't cost you that much extra. The wife just purchased a 2011 SE brand new for less then people were asking for a used one.

I can understand that rate, in Barrie, if you have your car and on Plan A with SF.

But in Scarborough? M1? Unless every single piece of insurance is with StateFarm, hard to believe. And that means the Cat's insured too.

I love the cbr250 except for all this drama: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforu...gine-shuts-off-randomly-when-clutch-pulled-in,

It's not a dealbreaker though, it's just a known glitch. If it really manifests a problem I'll take it back to the dealer and make them fix it or take it back. The thing with any vehicle is there are known issues that happen to a small percentage of people, who become extremely vocal about it. The company always has to manage that.

I mainly went with Honda because of fuel injection and looks... I'm not going to say don't get a Ninja. I considered it myself.

250 is really to begin with, will likely move up after an year. Hopefully i will be able to afford the insurance for it then as well :). So what do you say about CBR 250? I would rather ask you then some biased people who are trying to diss it for a Kawi 250.

The guy I quoted has the same location as us though:dontknow:

im looking for a 250 for a friend.

have seen a ton out there for under 3400. not sure what or where you are looking.

ontario.kijiji.ca (not toronto.kijiji.ca) helps.

safety is $50. so dont even factor that.

taxes, you can write 500$ on the receipt or UVIP and pay $56 bucks tax at the MTO.

now you have 3300 to spend on the bike.

AC mentioned he had one, i pm'd him as i have cash in hand too. no reply.

but kijiji has a boat load of 250rs.

What about looking for an older and cheaper bike?

What about spending less than 12 hours a day online looking for a bike and working more to up the budget?

There are deals out there, be patient one will come along

The cbr125 had huge amount of complaints of a false neutral between 5 th and 6th. The bike would slip out of gear. The solution was likely to shift firmly.

Sorry to bother you guys again. I am getting frustrated about buying a bike, have been online for 12+ hours every day for the last week and half. Almost had a sale before this guy arrived 5 minutes before me and bought the bike and put it up for 1000+ the price he bought it for(3200$) 2 day later..... ARRRGGHH!!. I am just looking for a decent Kawasaki 250(fourth Gen after 2007). Have no priority for color. I can spend 3400$ for it and pay for certification. Keeping 500$ for Registration, Plating and taxes etc. Have 200$ for gear(Helmet), have a Jacket and shoes. If anyone of you guys know someone who is looking to sell a Kawi 250 which is in good condition and does not have broken fairings please let me know Or advise me on what should i do. I have a nice insurance quote from SF 51$/ month, Wife is backing me on this(i know strange) when everyone else is against it. Things are almost perfect except for the bike. HEELLPP!!!

All I can says is,

It used to happen to be between 2nd and 3rd when I first got the bike but after re-adjusting the chain cause it was loose, I found that the notches on the bike were completely misaligned probably from the previous owner. After I fixed that up, plus chain tension, it hasn't happened to me since. (2 weeks)

The guy agreed to give it to me for 2800$. Now the only issue is picking it up, any ideas?

Also he told me"It has a damaged break lever and some very minor scratches the person that had it before me dropped it but I had no problem getting a safety and I've never had one problem with the bike" also he assured there are no cracks on the fairings, only minor scratches.
