Sorry to bother you guys again. I am getting frustrated about buying a bike, have been online for 12+ hours every day for the last week and half. Almost had a sale before this guy arrived 5 minutes before me and bought the bike and put it up for 1000+ the price he bought it for(3200$) 2 day later..... ARRRGGHH!!. I am just looking for a decent Kawasaki 250(fourth Gen after 2007). Have no priority for color. I can spend 3400$ for it and pay for certification. Keeping 500$ for Registration, Plating and taxes etc. Have 200$ for gear(Helmet), have a Jacket and shoes. If anyone of you guys know someone who is looking to sell a Kawi 250 which is in good condition and does not have broken fairings please let me know Or advise me on what should i do. I have a nice insurance quote from SF 51$/ month, Wife is backing me on this(i know strange) when everyone else is against it. Things are almost perfect except for the bike. HEELLPP!!!

Does it Have to be a Kawi 250? Where are you looking, how far from home?

Send a PM to AC.

He said he might have one for sale that would fit into your budget nicely.

Just keep looking man...it took me well over a month to get one...and I was the same way on kijiji 12 hours a day lol

I am willing to travel 200KM for it from where i live. There is a 2011 CBR for 3600, only 3000+ Km, but i heard a lot of bad things about it which is why i am not bothering.

I am 210Lb, 125 would be too small! no?

what about an ex or gs500? Seems like the 250 is a popular bike, but with spring in the air, supply vs. demand isn't your friend.

Good idea keeping the cash in hand (from another thread), but don't get so anxious you neglect to do your due diligence on a potential purchase just to buy 'something'.

There's a few for $3900. Maybe if you can go up a couple hundred they'll take it?

I looked up GS500 but the insurance is twice as that of 250.

I wish my insurance was that low when I started. My first 6 months or so were around $400/mo. I should've gone with a 250!

I wish i could afford half of that :p. I am quoted 51$ from SF for a 250.

Keep looking and be patient. If you can wait a few months you'll most likely find better deals.

Man guy was asking 5k for his Cbr F4i 2004 with 25k on it, I got him down to 2900 and he delivered it, the bike has been down, and just needed to replace upper fairing. I plastic welded that for dirt cheap.

Just need to be patient, If you want full story PM Me, Dont wanna give away my secrets.... lol
