I have a friend that has a couple of F4i's.I wonder what happens to the value of them if MV is dead and gone?

Why do you want this bike? It is just a paint job , not worth waiting for. Buy an RC or a regular one . They are available nowNow you know why I'm ****** about MV's financial woes and being in bike-limbo.
Like a dead artist. Price will go up as it will be a rare model.

Imagine just for a moment... Aprilia snaps up MV and builds their triples to replace the venerable Shiver, maybe the Caponord and builds a lower-end Tuono ... and also the 675. Drop the F4 which has always been pretty but never so capable, and then you have a mid-range supersport and several (well-received and moderately successful) less powerful alternatives in naked and adventure. In the meantime, you pick up all of MV's dealerships.
Aprilia's numbers are a long way up with their new bikes. This would just bolster that.
Uh oh! Can you get your deposit back asap?

That's a good alternative if you can't waitWell, the dealership is strongly advocating for MV and are asking me to be patient, for the bike will come into production in April and I will be riding it just at the turn of summer.
If push comes to shove, they have this 2016 in stock:

Aprilias are amazing bikes and the V4 engine sounds like nothing else. I have been on the bike a few times this year and it has always been the Tuono. George at Corsa is great to deal with. Big jump in power from the F3 to the RSV4RR...you will love it.
The new one carries power a lot higher up the tach, though... I haven't heard a good pipe on one yet except from a dyno run...
