went today. not as busy as previous years. Usually parking is a clusterf*ck, but empty spaces all day today. Layout is pretty much the same, vendors are the same. A decent number of 2014 models on the floor. Usual idiotic pricing of "for sale by owner" used bikes. Seemed to be geared a bit more towards dealerships than apparel vendors this time around. GP Bikes had their usual sized booth. This year (apparently last year to), you can use gift cards they give you ($10 for $200, $20 for $300, etc ), in separate transactions at the show. Years ago I do not believe that was the case, but nice to see. Hardly had any race suits, but lots of jackets, helmets, boots, etc. Double check the retail/sale price in accordance with the posted signage, we found a number of items that were not calculated correctly at the GP bikes booth. Riders choice was offering carver and gp pro alpinestars suits at great prices. Had most of the sizes on the rack (even found a 64 EUR for the larger folk).
Fawaz at the racer5 booth had a $499 + tax for all 3 of the stage 4/stag 5 days deal, IIRC (wasn't aware of it before the show). Considering they are running 2 groups those days with instructors, its a pretty good deal. Be sure to swing by and visit him. Individual days were also a solid deal.
Hardly any race tires to be had which was disappointing (lots of street tires though).
