****, I was too lazy to change mine prior to winterizing. The bike's gonna explode isn't it.

The pinecone thing doesn't bug me lol I'm pretty sure everyone here has been down over some dumb *** reason...they just didn't publicize it.

....plus, I'm seriously putting a pinecone sticker on my next track bike. If I pass anyone who knows why there's a pinecone there, their ego will deflate >=)

You would be wrong ...2/3 of riders never go down on pavement ...including me over 50 years.

Cmon mac doc being a computer wiz owning macdoc apple at least quote it right man. By you saying never went down says a lot... you ride like granny know this firsthand rode with you before LOL

Are you sure? The stipend of pork and cheese back home doesn't count

Id rather have virtual sore spots than drive or ride high like a bum

Instead I think the industry needs to look at a much broader marketing strategy that exposes as many people as possible to the wider range of what motorcycling can be. The "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" campaign did that, and the positive impact on the industry was well documented.
?
Ahh Jan Smithers, an inconic girl next door on the back of a 50cc step through Honda. How cute. Suddenly people were no longer afraid of bikes as portrayed by the Hell's Angels rape, plunder and kill films of the 1950's.

Catch 22: Vespas and 50 cc Stepthroughs are only popular with people that don't ride and frighteningly fast and powerful bikes that scare non-riders are only popular with people that do ride. Houston we have a problem.

Let's continue scaring granny. Dress up your street bike with race stickers so it looks like you're asking for trouble. Some retards think that way about women so why wouldn't we expect them to think that way about bikes. You want to look fast? Here's a ticket to show your friends how fast you really are.

How many performance cars do you see on the street wearing NASCAR numbers and sponsorship decals? So why the motorcycle Mr. Dressup pretend to be Rossi bit?

I switched to riding a motorcycle because insurance was a quarter of what my car cost. As usual the government improved things.

If thats your take from the entire sentence, that speaks volumes

I suppose age isn't an indicator of wisdom and maturity like some would have you believe

I have a relative who drives high, but hes 19

its medical I say medical soooo enlighten me what do you mean? Btw did you get quiet one or warm one

and I as well

grew up in Brampton and we all had dirt bikes or could borrow one
would go to The Pits, just across Heart Lake Road, and ride
the pits had filled with water and we'd swim there too during summer break
and into the teenage years have our field parties there

@Joe Bass you prolly know this place

upon turning 16 we all got driving ASAP
don't know how, as a teenager, to go about getting laid with a bicycle

our species might be doomed by this generation
are they capable of reproducing?
Just off Kennedy iirc? We called it the Gorge, maybe?

:lmao:bp .. you losing track ????and I dont drive an 18 wheeler thats PP ...And mac doc bailing has saved my bacon twice now..its not rocket science van comes out of a timmies lot not paying attention I make eye contact ...thinking he is aware I have the right of way being on road him coming out of lot. BUT he gases as I go by ...I see him coming and bail...he ran right over my bike ending up between the front and back wheels of the van. If I hadnt bailed would have been pizza sauce...he broke my leg and obviously he was charged ...ins paid nice settlement too back in the 80s.. Not saying bailing works in all cases but sometimes can be life or death.

 so happy for you being so pleased with the outcome of your intentional crash.

Haven't you heard, motorcycles are invisible!
Eye contact means nothing, right of way means nothing,
based on your description your reaction to a potential danger situation was delayed.

There is only one way to survive street on a motorcycle and that is to outride them all.

Side swipe... intentional crash? Ok... no wit whatsoever kinda bland but you happy me happy we happy

you know how i know you never talk to people in the real world like that?

re laying it down, what has greater traction, brake pads and tires designed to grip or pegs and other metal bits designed to slide without wearing away?

Notice how far those bikes slide on the YouTube crash videos.
