I find this statement interesting. " On 2 November 2015, Jorge Lorenzo filed a Request for Intervention in order to be able to participatein this CAS arbitration but such request was denied. However, the CAS Arbitrator, after consultationwith the parties, allowed the filing of a written statement by counsel for Jorge Lorenzo.The arbitration procedure is still in progress and a final decision on the merits will be rendered at alater stage."

Seem like Lorenzo is desperate to find any way to sick his nose into something that has nothing to do with him.... maybe everyone should play the same games he's playing and ask the same tribunal body to award Lorenzo a penalty for passing on a yellow flag... again Lorenzo biggest hypocrite in Motogp....

Is not only good sportsmanship but it's also wise racecraft because you know the faster guy will eventually get around and pull away, so by challenging the faster rider for a few corners or a few laps he'd just be slowing himself down over the race distance.

Yes, it had nothing to do with him but the events had a direct affect on the championship results. He was a victim of collateral damage. The fact that his direct opponent to the title pulled a move that was at a minimum a ride through (based on the past), might get away with 16 points and no repercussions in Valencia, irked him. You don't think he was justified one bit to complain?

And the yellow flag is old news. He was already found by Race Direction that he didn't pass under yellow. Stop grasping at straws.
 
My theory today, Rossi has many titles and is at the end of his run. MM could have a long career ahead of him, by F'ing up Rossi on a championship this yr its one more championship MM won't have to win to be the most titled and worlds best by the end of his career.
Its evil plotting at its finest , but how I think MM's head works.
 
Something I found interesting and funny.

During the Italian portion of Valentino's interview, a reporter told him that Lorenzo's dad said his penalty of 3 points was ******** and that he should have not been penalized (I am paraphrasing since me Italian is a little rusty), Valentino laughed and said "Thank you Lorenzo's dad"

They also asked him what did he think about Lorenzo trying to get involved in the decision of the penalty and writing a letter to the arbitration body, he said "I was surprised" and didn't say anything else.

He also said "f you Marquez" ... I made this up but how awesome would that have been.

Rossi referenced that exact theory as a possible reason in his post conference scrum in Malaysia.. I suspect you're both right.

The hole in that theory is why did MM pip JL on the last lap in PI to deny him 5 points? If his goal was to deny VR the championship, he should have finished behind JL.

I think there was some douchebaggery on MMs part, but it's not part of some grander plan. I think he just wants to **** with Rossi on a race-by-race basis.

I agree, he should be punished and he is by starting at the back. But why hate on the guy for trying every avenue to appeal or delay the punishment?
