Yeah, well done by all the riders involved to re-sort the race order so quickly.
Good defense by Rossi, but the fact that he couldn't capitalize on all the shuffling going on behind him didn't bode well for him. Good on Pedrosa for showing some killer instinct. They were looking at Lorenzo's front tire after the race, but other than race start he never seemed to really be a contender, and was only close to the top three in the end because of the yellow flag re-shuffle.

Race is up but due to inclimate weather where the satellite feed was recording there are breakups during the race, including lots on the last lap. I don't know if Barcelona is a "Yamaha" track, but Yamaha (Rossi anyway) looks to have found something. There is no doubt MM will win the championship (IMO), but I don't think he will win out the season. Interestingly, Rossi is only 58 points behind. Despite MM winning everything, Rossi has been right there in 2nd or 3rd for the whole season.
"only" because he has 7 straight wins. I would have expected the gap to be larger.
Not to take anything away from any of the factory riders, but it seems to me that the RCV's development is slowly chipping away at the M1's advantage in the corners. There may not be any more "Yamaha tracks" in the future...

Yamaha seems to have the top speed and braking sorted so there may not be any manufacturer specific tracks...

As evidenced from this past weekend, Marquez can fall. Is it so far-fetched that he'll do the same during a race?

Absolutely ! of course anything is possible, but he doesn't even look like hes riding the ragged edge. He looks like he just rides his race and then turns it up on the last 8 laps, makes his way to the front and collects another win...

I'm just playing devil's advocate.
It is highly unlikely that Marquez will post a DNF, but stranger things have happened in MotoGP. There's still more than half of races remaining, but at this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if he wins all of the races.
The only time Marquez almost fell in a race this season was the last corner of the last lap in Austin, where he was up by like 30 seconds or something ridiculous. He almost high-sided because he said he "got bored" and "lost his concentration"...
So yeah, maybe he will DNF this season, but not because of trying too hard.
