What a team! Back on a losing streak. McCabe is back to his old ways, taking stupid penalties. It is very easy to get under his skin and make him mad. I can't believe this guy is on team Canada. This guy is going to take stupid penalties, and maybe cost us a medal at the Olympics. Hopefully he doesn't play to many minutes.

I was listening to the fan 590 this morning at 9:20am. Sports desk came on, and the first topics of course were the Maple leafs. This is what they said!(Maple Leafs get some new and exciting news this morning, Aki Berg might me ready to play today against the Thrashers.) I'm sorry but am I the only one that doesn't think that the news about Aki Berg coming back isn't exciting. If I was a Leaf fan, that would be depressing.

This is starting to feel like the 80's again... It's all right. We knew it was gonna be a tough year so we'll take our lumps. The experts are saying that to make the playoffs, we have to win 16 of the last 22 games to even have a chance at making it. At this rate though, it doesn't look too good...

The bozos on TSN. They're guessing that to make the playoffs this year, you'll need at least 90 points seeing as how the season is going. I don't think the Leafs will be able to reach that. This is all hypothetical. If Montreal goes on a 12 game streak, then we're done for.

Richardson, who was drafted by Toronto in 1987, spent the first four seasons of his career in Toronto before being traded to Edmonton in a seven-player deal in September 1991. The defenceman, who turns 37 later this month, signed with Philadelphia in July 1997 before inking a deal with Columbus prior to the 2002-03 season.
The Blue Jackets' captain this season, Richardson recorded one goal, six assists and 30 penalty minutes in 44 games. He missed 15 games after suffering a fractured jaw on December 21 but returned to action January 28.
"Luke Richardson is the consummate professional who brought tremendous class and leadership to our organization, both on and off the ice," Blue Jackets general manager Doug MacLean said. "After receiving a number of inquiries from teams, Luke and I talked about his future and tried to do what was best for him and his family moving forward. A native of Ottawa, Richardson has collected 33 goals, 153 assists and 1,955 penalty minutes in 1,291 career games.
