Grr. Easy opportunity to accidentally get pinched between the cars and break his legs there. Makes it easier for the cops to find him and much harder for him to try again.
Am I a bad person for hoping he would've been pinned b/w the 2 vehicles?

It's easy to make that mistake in the heat of the moment. There is also no guarantee this is over when you drive away as dirtbag has a chase car.
Anybody know how insurance treats this? At-fault crash for the guy getting carjacked?

Buddy's car got stolen last night. 2min from approach to drive away. Weird that his cameras didn't see the actual entry into the car, but they did capture the kid driving away.

If its any consolation from the looks of it the accused assaulted some of the police by repeatedly striking their fists and boots with his head "the suspect was taken into custody before being transported to hospital as a precaution."
Its unlikely that he sustained any injuries playing bumper car with the police cruisers at parking lot speeds driving a H2.

A white SUV got stolen up the street from our house a couple of days ago. Came flying down, lost control, went up the curb and hit our basketball net in front of our house. It was anchored to the ground, and had concrete slabs on it. The net fell on our driveway and just missed hitting my car. I'm guessing there was severe damage to the stolen car.
I have it on video from my NVR, but wasn't able to load it on this site (different format).

Double check that. Insurance doesn't cover damages when the vehicle is used in the commission of a crime.
The insurers didn't have to pay out for the Yonge Steet massacre.
