When the choice is between another Mike Harris, the dumbarse Dips and that, no wonder I always show up in my Sunday's best and formally decline my ballot

Lol, waiting for liberals coming in here to say "how are you going to get service without money?"

Government waste tics me off too, regardless of which party is responsible. So it comes down to the difference in ideology. Here is what someone smarter than I am said about conservative-ism:

Going to Norway was an eye opening experience. It was very interesting being in a country, a socialist country at that, with a government that seems to know what it's doing and puts the people first (not it's own best interests).

I am not against socialist ideas. However, I am fully convinced that our government, no matter which party, is utterly incapable of doing anything right.

Exactly and that's because of either 1) Sheer incompetence or 2) Corruption.

That's the point I've been trying to make for years. We have all the necessary elements to create the same thing that they have, which would not only benefit the general population but also the business community. The problem is that we have to work out a system of accountability that has TEETH.

I don't know about Norway but I believe our culture is too adversarial and government reflects that. First world egos. That needs to be fixed first.

If they could get over their Viking heritage and set their house in order, so can we
