I'm up for Level1 this saturday but its supposed to rain. I was told to bring rain gear but I haz none.

Any suggestions? I'm not going to go out and buy rain gear for a one day event.

Buy rain gear and not throw it out afterwards? It's useful on those cloudy days when you want to ride but have a 20% P.O.P.

Three Options,

1. ride and get wet (I do it all the time)
2. buy rain gear and bring it just in case (I sometimes have mine with me, works great when I do)
3. Make sure your normal riding gear is water proof.

On that Note, I might see if I can squeeze and extra set of rain gear in my pack (Not saying I can or if I do that it will fit you but its something I will try to do before I leave home.

Not worth the money imo. Its more enjoyable to ride nice weather. If theres a chance of rain, say 40%, I won't go very far so that in the off chance it does rain, I won't be in it for too long.

The ride and get wet part is what I'm expecting.... except its the whole day... like 10 hours. And its thundershowers too, not light drizzle. Maybe I'll wear plastic bags around my boots...

I'll bring a few extra ziplock bags to be used inside the boots to keep your feet dry! :)

Speaking of drinks ... for those that aren't aware, there are pop/snack machines right by the class room. Bring CHANGE. ;)

Thanks! Too late for me though - already stacked up on beef jerky, granola bars and water.

I have a rain suit in the trailer. If it rains...it's yours to borrow for the day.

Cheers

Paul
