I've had a similar situation: I was ramping on the 404 mid summer and probably making too much noise. I saw a cop under a bridge right after a ramp entrance. I was ready to go full retard but he just flashed his brake lights at me. I slowed down, moved into the right most lane, noticed he got out of the bridge, didn't tail me, and just exited.

I don't like heart attacks =(

lol worst feeling ever. The best is when they are behind you and pop the cherries and you move over and they zoom by you. Mini heart attacks.

403/QEW around Brant/Waterdown? That guy is trolling there all the time this summer. He's either stopped by a guardrail shooting radar or actually riding back & forth between Waterdown Rd. & Centennial looking in through people's windows to catch them on their phone.

the Harley guy incident was at 403 on ramp at Main about 2-3 summers ago.

How can you be burning the ramps & get caught up by a Harley??
Boggles the mind :what:

Sent from my tablet using my paws

Easy, I was flying on the onramp, and checked the rear view and noticed the "cars" headlights were getting smaller. But then I noticed a singular headlight breaking away from the pack, closing in, and knew something was up. So needless to say I slowed down, and he caught up to me.

Re: My first encounter with OPP on my bike.

SO the cop is allowed to sit at 140 while typing away on his laptop at night time... SO much for distracted driving laws. Who will watch the watchmen aye.

Its because they're "trained professionals".
They do have a driving simulator where they have to drive while operating the laptop with kids jumping out at them. But at 140, I'm sure they're not trained to run plates at that speed...

They need a new spokesman. He clearly highlighted the issues with the demeanour that border guards present. Sure that wasn't from "This Hour Has 22 Minutes"?

*EDIT* Ah, yes........ A Canadian radio version of "The Onion":

This Is That is a current affairs program that doesn't just talk about the issues, it fabricates them. Nothing is off limits--politics, business, culture, justice, science, religion--if it is relevant to Canadians, we'll find out the "This" and the "That" of the story.

Each week, hosts Pat Kelly and Peter Oldring introduce you to the voices and stories that give this country character in this 100% improvised, satirical send-up of public radio.

Thanks! Makes me feel better that it was a put-up.

I don't often get a chance to listen during the day, so I was flabbergasted listening to this!

Says to the quality of radio in this area when your go to radio station is the CBC.
