In a self-defense situation, a couple of shots center-mass are what's called for. Biggest target, will neutralize the threat. Lethality doesn't even factor into the equation. With that being said, I'm betting he'll be switching to .45ACP and choosing a better bullet for his self-defense rounds, like the Hornady XTP
You're completely right about center-mass shots.
Mind you those XTP's would be a nice step up for self-defense
