Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

Meow. Hiss. Scratch.
Nasty girly fight going on in the track thread from Monday... eesh...
Starts getting ugly at the post listed below and promptly goes downhill from there.

Well ... That was kinda awesome and kinda pathetic rolled into one. I definitely don't wanna be at the track when those people are, although I don't think we would be in the same group. I love some of the "gtam pros" giving advice. Lol funny none the less. I'm never going to a gtam trackday... Ever :) if I want drama I'll rent a movie lol

Think it was a normal track day, but with bunches of GTAM riders...

lright, Sept.10 @ SMP Long track, who's going?

Randy - In
Dave - In
Dean - In

So it's just the three of us going this time? I checked Pro6's site and it's not even half full for tomorrow. :)

yup, looks like it, talked to Tim, he's not sure, but sounds like he's out

Yeah... sorry man... I'm out for tomorrow.
I *REALLY* want to go, but there's even more crazy stupid rush stuff waiting for me at work on Monday... guy has been pushed off several times already by my bosses due to their enjoying overloading me.

If there's any other day coming up shortly I"ll gladly go.

Anyone up for Thursday, Sept. 20 at TMP, or saving it for Saturday, Sept. 29 at TMP?

i'm in for the 29th

depends on weather, I'm a maybe

back from SMP, no one in the group crashed, a few crashes during the day, nothing major. Dave set a new all time best, and I learned how to drift on exits with end of life slicks

Yep, very good day! Morning was a bit sketchy with the cold temps but the afternoon was perfect. Took 2 seconds off my PB, 1:59.9. It's not under by much, but I made it under 2 minutes :) Plus my tire issues might be fixed.

Dave all time best? How'd the tires hold up? I think it's the practice we got in Saturday ;)

What was the tire fix? Drive harder makes them wear even? :)

That must have been it :)

Raised the front 3mm to get more weight on the rear tire when exiting corners to keep it from breaking loose. John also made some damping changes both rebound and compression. Then last session I put 1lb extra pressure in the front to help it turn better. It's working good now, but I also need to be smoother on the throttle. I whack it too hard, apparently. LOL I'm hoping the cooler day wasn't a big factor and it still works okay when it's 30° out.
