This is true, but I'm more concerned about the marshals. Last time I did a TMP hosted day I think the marshals were people they found squatting the night before. They didn't seem to know what was going on. That was a few years ago though, and I know there has been lots of marshal training with SOAR. Does anybody know if the marshals TMP uses are trained?

Nope - not Racer5 on the days in question.
The days with late tech inspection and late track starts (closer to 10am) have been run by TMP. The tech guy didn't show up till 8:30am both times I was there for TMP organized days.
Were those the days I heard about where they ran until 6:00 to compensate?
I imagine people were screaming for a refund or something then. That would suck. But like Dan said, this time a year it maybe isn't so bad since going out at 10° is only good for a wasted heat cycle. The tires will lose heat on the that track. That's likely also why there were a few crashes on Monday morning.
I am keeping an eye on the weather for this date Nick and the wife is about to deliver our second child due today actually
so I will need a day of "sanity" at the track next week !
Thanksgiving weekend then? Saturday or Monday for me.
