Ok... I was talking with them about a few things on their website that were incorrect yesterday, and it seems like they've fixed it up.
There are now different groups for each track day showing on the registration pages.

$125 if you pre-register, $155 if you show up at the track (if they have space).

holy crap that's expensive! How far in advance do they consider pre-reg, 1 day, 1 week?
 
Looks like you can sign up for any day they are offering for the entire summer right now.
$125 really doesn't sound that far out of line compared to what Pro6 and the other places are charging...
That's the price for the whole summer long. SO, not too terrible, really.
 
I meant the $155 part... for GB, it's expensive, unless they're going to do some serious upgrades, like, turtles as a minimum, seagull repellent would also be good! haha... $125 is fine though.
 
Dammit, maybe I should get it... my bike is done at Pro6, and the surging they can't fix with fueling. They figured out that it only happens in 4th gear, and predict that it's bad decel dogs slipping. I have had some major jumping out of gear incidents, so this makes sense...

Dave There's a guy on here selling an 2005 GSXR 750 for 4500, with a lot done and spares...... he'd probably take less to get rid of her!

Well, I've been thinking about my first track day on Suzi SV... going to have the cameras on board and want to make a cool-ish little video...
Thinking of starting it with the first lap ever on the bike, then progressing to first hot lap, then later in the day when I've gotten a bit more used to the bike and track... Forward pointing cam (working on a gyro stabilized system with a few guys in the US that have access to milling equipment), rear, maybe helmet or front fairing pointing back towards me...

But, the main thing I'm thinking about is the tunes I'm going to insert into the video...

Amon Amarth - Free Will Sacrifice
Burn Halo - I Won't Back Down

Any other good suggestions?

Drag city... is the surging something that you can live with? Maybe you should pick up something with a little more juice - as I suspect there'll be more competition on the track this year ;).... I think the sv is holding you back. R1 for sure.
 
Been reading the 'construction at mosport' thread in the trackdays section, and it looks like bikes at mosport may be coming to an end...? There's only a few days this coming season, and I'm thinking about booking for Monday, Aug. 27. (That's the only date I can make)
Anyone else interested?

Ouch.. $200 for the day... + tax = $226. Gas = $50+... food etc...
easy $300 for a single track day... think I'm going to have to pass on that one...

Well, now that I know (think I know) what it is, I can probably deal with it. If I'm braking hard and it's surging in 4th then I can likely downshift into 3rd, or at least grab the clutch. What competition are you speaking of? ;)

There are never more than 1/2 a dozen or so track days at Mosport. That's actually a pretty good price for a Mosport track day. Pro6 has them for $230. Considering that RC is charging $150 for Shannonville long track... I might be in for August 27th. Not signing up any time soon though.
