Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

SOAR day today was good. Riders meeting was done by 8:45, on the track sharp at 9. They ran a green/yellow as green, red/slower SOAR as yellow, and fast SOAR as red. Awesome tempature, mostly sunny. Had a couple droplets of rain for 2 minutes, but it dried immediately. Not a single crash all day. Clean passes, didn't know Dean-o was going to be there, didn't find out until after I had already setup.

He had the RZ350 going, which was really hard to pass. Not from speed, mostly due to the smoke :) Cool bike though.
Track was nice and warm, and not as slippery in the morning as it usually is. New forks work excellent. 3 clicks of compression and that's all it really needed.

Most definitely. Day is booked off work (oh wonder of wonders that they let me have it).
Will book it when I am back from my trip to Germany.

Took the Daytona out for a spin in the neighbourhood today to make sure all my winter mods worked properly. Had to adjust the shift lever a bit, otherwise all good.

Fantastic day at SMP Fabi today. Never did rain, and got up to 25 after the sun finally broke through at around 2:00. Nice to meet you today xrayhonda :)

It was nice meeting you and GSXR Girl too. Again thanks for all the info and advice; especially the track map with the lines.:)

Its a tricky track to learn and very difficult to master, but such a great layout :) You planning on going on May 27th?

Every time I do a Fabi day I have to relearn turn 3. LOL... takes me a few sessions to dial it in, then it's easy and I'm rockin' again. It's amazing how easily one corner can throw off the feel of the whole circuit until you get it.

Nice to meet you too!

Ok, in for mosport on the 22nd. Had to move the Aug.12 date because of the SIGGRAPH conference behing held that same week. Also planning for SMP on the 27th still. Next week will be busy.

Brand new set of GPA, I think so :) Let's find out what Dave's secret is.

I'm still weather watching, but I think I'll sign up a few days early.

I already told you the secret. LOL... It's not tires, it's throttle control. Oh, by the way, I got a Motion Pro Revolver throttle and put in the largest cam. Took a few sessions to adjust my throttle hand to it but it's awesome. Still showing perfect tire wear too. Slow and smooth buddy, that's all there is to it! :)

yay! Is Dave riding or holding the umbrella?

right on, signed up for SMP long on May.27 as well. Not looking promising right now, if it doesn't work out I'll move it to June.8
