Yes, i am sure of that... my legs are complaining about squeezing the tank so much yesterday.
The fact that muscles from all over started cramping at random for short periods makes me think I was low on sodium etc.

Looks sharp. Why did you get rid of the high mount M4 pipe? It was the ballz! Not much money in the SV so it's worth keeping for occasional track days. I'm not going to the Racer5 VIP days. Going to Calabogie on Monday June 8th, and Mosport big track on August 11th. That's all that is planned so far but there will certainly be more. Grand Bend really needs to put on some of their own track days! With the number of new riders taking Fawaz's school there must be lots of people who want to do non-race weekend track days in the area...
 
I'm going, so are my friends Dan and Ricardo. Randy says he might come as well.
Will be good fun at the VIP day. Probably going on the Saturday only.

Still have the mid pipe, but the exhaust has a crack in it.. A little Target fixation and drove right off into the mud at grandbend start of last year. It was embarrassing cause it was like super slow while on the brakes on a left hander and I would have been fine if the mud was dry and just dirt/dust.. Only damage was the pipe so I tossed on this shorty can which I don't mind. Also I frequently burnt the heal of my boot with the high mount.. I really like the Mosport development track and wanna try shannonville one day, but not sure if it'll pan out this year.. May just be Racer5 VIP this year.. Ill see you there Tim, sounds like a good gathering and looking forward too meeting your buddies.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot about that crash you had. I burned my boot a bit on that pipe too, so I can imagine it was worse for you.
 
Anyone here planning on doing the Thursday Evening session at Grand Bend on June 11th? There are 3 of us going so far with the possibility of up to 6
 
hockey thursdays for me, but driving to grand bend, set up, etc. etc. 4 hours is a little too short for me. Granted lots of track time. Looking at June.19 for the Modified track SOAR practice day.
 
You also need to weigh in what event is happening during the day. If it's cars then the track won't be as clean as it could be.

I'll be at Calabogie on Monday, already booked for Mosport big track August 11th, and July 14 at SMP is a possibility.
 
Possibly TMP next weekend, not sure yet. SOAR June.19, and possibly DDT track on the 27th. TMP on the 28th for a non-motorcycle event. Out of town July.1-19 and the week of Aug.12, so busy summer. Sounds like we are just missing you guys this year.

Looks like next Thursday nothing is scheduled according to the calendar prior to the bikes that day. Porsche London and Karting are out there this weekend and then empty until Thursday

Yeah. Maybe we can hook something up late in the season. Grand Bend really needs some proper track days.
 
I'd be all for it, too bad gtam isn't doing any, they did a pretty good job the last couple.
 
^^ They definitely do. I am not fast enough yet to join the Friday sessions prior to SOAR weekends since from everything I have read it seems to point to it being more of a yellow/red and soar type of groups day.
 
Yeah, its a yellow/red/racer group setup with fairly open passing rules
 
Apparently I'm not fast enough for those SOAR Fridays either.

Still no word on a GTAM track day? I haven't seen anything about it...
 
I wish Grand Bend would do some track days too. I won't ride on the Soar practice days either. After hearing the person running the days say at the riders meeting that it's a race practice, not a track day, and there are no rules I knew it's definitely not a day I will ride at. Too bad though cause I like the track.
 
Really considering next Thursday evening lapping at GB. Only miss a few hours of work...
