Right now I'm just sitting on my couch, going 0 km/h. Feels pretty slow. ;) Thursday I'll be using Bridgestone slicks with new EBC brake rotors, so I'll be able to slow down quickly. I might be spending half the day in beginner so I'll feel faster than I really am. Have I hit a useful answer yet? LOL...

First thought was; throw the Michelin onto the tire fire. Then go steal Nick's new Pirellis. haha...

superbike pro's it is, just for that comment Dave. Actually I was about to change them then remmebered there are more lefts this time around, so I left em the way they were.

LOL I didn't mean it that way! My bike just isn't set up right for them.
 
sounds like were going to need some spec tire rules for the red group to deal with this...
 
it went from 10 % chance of rain to 90% with 10mm :(

I'm out guys. Realistically building this house the legal crap this week has consumed my evenings. Finally this morning we agreed on the builders contract and went firm in the deal. Hopefully the shovels go in the ground soon.

Hey, an exacto knife is a perfectly acceptable kitchen tool at the race track when your trying to cut up avacados.

Sorry Nick, not this time. If the weather is a miracle for October 3rd we might be at Grand Bend again.
 
done for the year (obviously). Got the subframe straightened last night with the help of a blow tourch for a bit of heat an 8' 2x4 and a hammer to convince it back into place. One of the subframe bolts was offset between the frame and subframe by about 2mm, but otherwise horizontally straight. And honda uses pretty good bolts. Fawaz found my speedo (yay!), trying to coordinate getting it back from him to determine if it still even works or not and discussing race body work with James from SquidSkins. Still taking inventory of what is broken, it might be a while. While I have it apart it will undergo a 60k service for bearings, head bearings, valve check, etc.
 
I have a honda speedo for sale. Less than 12,000kms on it. Comes with a free bike. Message me for details ;) lol
