When she was in high school in the 1970s there was to be a presentation on feminism. A mixed bunch of similar aged students were sitting on the floor of the room when the speaker came in and sat on a chair.
She was drop dead gorgeous and wearing a slit skirt. The boys kept sliding a bit closer to the front of the room as she spoke about her cause.
One raised his hand and when she acknowledged him he said "Miss, aren't you fighting a losing battle?"
