I was doing some research today and evidently, scientists now know the origin of the asteroid that collided with earth 66 million years ago putting into motion the climate change and associated global devastation that eventually caused the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event that killed off the dinosaurs. Apparently, it came from space.
