It's Official!

how you wanna bring up your kids is totally your choice, how i wanna raise my children is my choice and how the OP's parents raised him and still raising him is their choice. I don't see why people get butt hurt when they see other people getting stuff from their parents. Like leave them alone they're lucky that their parents can afford to buy stuff for their children.

And for those wondering, i'm under my dads plan for insurance, it comes to about 1800 a year which isn't that bad from CAA.

So I'm guessing you're committing insurance fraud, because I'm a year older on a 250r paying over $3000 a year with TD MM.

I'm on my parent's policy but I'm primary rider on the bike.

He is not committing any insurance fraud. I'm not surprised at all that TD is charging you $3k. Shop around.

It has to be fraud, I literally called CAA 10 mins ago (the company OP is with) and they wanted $3100/y liability only on a DRZ400SM.

I'm a year older than OP, have a clean record, over a year with my M2 and a year of being insured on a 250r.

Not only that, but since Intact bought out Jevco they wont insure sport bikes at all anymore.

interesting.. may be he has his dad as the primary and only rider. who knows. If he is doing a fraud then why is he paying insurance in the first place?
anyways, try a broker see if they can find you something cheaper.

In another thread he already admitted he is frauding the company, Only thing is his dad knows the agent so the agent is involved in it to.

......my dad has had his m for 5 years. I said that I am under his insurance and that my dad's friend assisted me in getting a very cheap rate under my dad's plan.......

So basically he probably isn't even listed on the policy at all.

Congrats on the new bike & ride safe!

It doesn't matter what size of a bike anyone gets as their first, if it's your time to go...you will go no matter what you ride!

Myself I started on a little Suzuki RM-80 when I was 12, then when I wanted a street bike I got me a Ninja 600-R the very first one that came out in 1985 after that in 1990 I bought a ZXR-750 and sold it a year later 1991 due to my older brother getting killed in Europe on a bike...now 23 years later I bought the Ducati 848 not a big jump in size but I am comfortable & I don't do stunts or crazy **** when I ride, I love my life & I want to enjoy the freedom on the open road...but I still do miss my little RM-80 I had so much fun on that lol!
