[redacted] I retract what I said. Ride safe, but it is really not a good idea that you got a bike like that.

I read thru your previous posts and I have to say, I'm legitimately concerned for your safety. Do you have gear? Did you buy a helmet that isn't $25? I'm not even going to tell you to be safe because I know everyone you know is telling you that and who the hell am I, but a 2012 gsxr600 is not a bike designed for a G1M1 rider. You should have probably stuck with the ninja 250r you were originally thinking about.

ya. now i remember he's the guy that was looking for a cheap helmet for the course. don't cheap out on gear, especially on a gsxr600.

Please tell me you've signed the Organ Donor consent card?

Wow 18, 0 yrs of driving experience (Car and Motorcycle) and a 2012 Gixxer?
I would love to hear what you are paying for insurance on that?

Wow, you all are hard on the OP. I haven't read any of his previous posts/threads to be able to say much more than good luck and be safe.

The only thing I can add is buy the best gear you can afford. I bought all of my gear over a period of time and though i had more to spend at different times i still did my research and tried to make the smartest purchases I could.

If your spending has to be frugal go to the classifieds or kijiji or craigslist or wherever. I've seen all kinds of gear being sold for better than reasonable prices.

Well congrats.... be safe.... but may I ask why? why did it have to be brand new? why 600? did you check ins quotes before making that decision?

to each their own on what people want but I truly hope you didnt go this way to look good because looks wont save you from the golden gates above..

Ride Safe....

Congrats on your new bike. Take your time and ride safe.
