restricted have to be trigger locked and in a case, but then again, CFO wont issue you an Authorization To Transport to a kijiji meet in the first place so thats a moot point.

Ammo has no restriction on transportation other than not loaded in a firearm. So if you have a side saddle with shotgun shells in, legal, if you have loaded mags sitting next to the firearm, legal.

yes correct. my mistake on the ammo...however end of day if ammo is locked up in its own case(if you have an ammo case) there is more safety taken.

If you're planning on being a tough guy and coming 'strapped' with a knife / gun / bat / whatever make sure you know how to, and are prepared to use it. If you just brandish it out, and the person really wants your stuff, they're probably more familiar with how to use it than you and CAN and WILL use your own weapon against you. I think there's a statistics that came out where people/homeowners have their weapons taken away from them and used against them when confronting an intruder. Just be sure you can use it...personally I don't think it's necessary and the media hypes up the dangers of such transactions more than real life. Keep you head and wits about you and you'll be fine. 2am meeting in an alley...stupid idea.
 
No, you're right....when i said out of sight, i meant you cant be fondling the thing while driving.
