I Saw You: V.2.0

Green Cbr passed me in my lane. I hate that, stay the hell away! If you're nice I'll wave you along.

Same thing here, southbound DVP today about 4pm but no idea what sport bike, I just remember the back protector. I move around in my lane for a number of reasons: tar snakes; getting in someone's mirror; preparing to overtake; etc. On this occasion I was briefly in the right section of the slow lane due to road imperfections. I don't shoulder check my own lane if I swerve back to where I was. It's not actually possible, as I'm not an owl. So passing 2 feet from me was schoolboy dumb. I rode 7 hours today and that was the only idiot on the road. Another rider. Still, great day.

A very nice newer SV650 up around....where was I.....Yonge and Elgin Mills-ish? It was a really nice dark teal colour, looked awesome with the black.

Lots of big groups up around the 507/118 area of course. What a beauty day.

Yesterday around 2pm I saw a group of 100 or so riders headed west on the 401 in Mississauga with a police escort. I don't know what was going on, but I feel like I missed out.

Possible a charity run. Bikers are great like that.

When I see a biker behind me I often weave around drain covers, small insects Lol. to let them know I do not always ride in a straight line. Pass me at your peril.

Was that a red CB500X I saw heading east on St. Clair by the stockyards at about 5pm today? Fine looking bike.

Me heading east, you west, hwy 5 east of Troy. Blue and white Gixxer stand up wheelie at probably 130-150kmh. Looked cool and all but waving like a flag kind of spooked me. 6pm tonite.

Yesterday (Monday May 18th) at around 2:45pm ish.....Silver Honda VFR going Northbound on Hurontario/Hwy 10 just south of Forks of the credit. I was in my Black Fiat Abarth (I only mention as it appeared as if you were staring me down)

Turn your High Beams off. It's day time and they're blinding. I was at the top of a hill and you were at the bottom and your headlights were still blinding me.

Good to see a wide variety of bikes out on Sunday. Lots of bikers posing at Timmies @ Port Parry.. lol! More fun seeing the bikers out on the roads..

Tremaine & Cambellville Rd yesterday... You were on a KTM 1190 R with your kid on the back, I was on the 690. Rare seeing another KTM in the wilderness.. ;)

Guy with helmet cam on an old Suzuki Katana Leslie and 16[SUP]th[/SUP] this morning whilst I was cycling. Took it upon himself to ride alongside and berate me for passing on the right (in an empty turn lane) coming up to the lights.
You’re an ***hole, you could’ve killed us both blocking the lane, cars honking and swerving to get around. Go have a good look at your film and report your high & mighty self for driving too slow -Section 132 and speeding -Section 128. No doubt most of the infringements recorded on your headcam are your own.
BTW – Section 150 (passing on the right) applies to motor vehicles, not bicycles, which are classified as vehicles.
Go get your facts right

Since when do people think bicycles aren't allowed to pass on the right? Wtf?

It's not illegal, but it's generally not a good idea to do that. If there's a vehicle making a right hand turn, it's not even legal at all.

http://www.wheels.ca/news/on-a-right-turn-who-has-right-of-way-car-or-bike-1408/

The rules-of-the-road state that when a motor vehicle driver plans to turn right, they must signal and only make the movement when safe to do so, using due care and attention to avoid a collision. For the turn to be safe, a driver should check for other motor vehicles as well as cyclists and pedestrians who could potentially enter the path of their turn.
The cyclist should also follow the law. Passing on the right is allowed where there is unobstructed pavement for two vehicles to pass. The pass must only be made when safe to do so. Therefore, a cyclist passing a vehicle ahead that is clearly signaling a right turn - which might block their path at any time - would not be making a "pass in safety."

I agree that they cannot pass a vehicle that is turning right but cyclists ride on the right side of the road and pass / get passed by vehicles constantly.

Today I rode with a guy on a cruiser with a yellow backpack that said ELF on it and a half helment on Bloor and then Keele for a bit. Wonder what it's like to ride a bike with the controls up above your ears...

That was exactly it. Ride for the fallen [riders], and it was awesome. There was another one to Keswick the day before, 300+ bikers.

Just glorious.

Today around 3:30 going west on Kingston Rd in Pickering. Group of 3 riders on an aprilla, bmw and a moto guzzi. The guzzi sounded really good! Nice looking bike too.
