I Saw You: V.2.0

To the red Panigale parked in front of Centerpoint:

You're welcome for the ticket I didn't give you.
You're welcome for kicking the dad and kid off your bike.
Don't Park in front of a main entrance at a mall.

Edit: never mind you were an *******. See you in court.

Oh does Paragon still run the show there? I worked at various sites with them for 5 years, one of them was the condos just north of Steeles. Used the uniform to score free Baskin/Robins on the regular, thanks for keeping up good relations if that was you guys haha!

I don't see why what he did is so wrong

Moral of the story: When you're doing something illegal and being cut a break, don't fail the 'attitude test.'

Essentially this. Management has a hard on for bikes on the sidewalk so we're supposed to enforce it zero tolerance no warnings. I've yet to give a bike a ticket until today though.

"Hey bud I didn't write you the ticket but I gotta ask you to find a parking space next time you're here." shouldn't elicit "**** you rent a cop piece of **** blah blah blah"

Gave him the $60 "Stop On/over sidewalk/footpath"

If he did react that way, then he did deserve that ticket. I once used to go for lunch at a crappy mall (yeh, it's truly crappy), but stopped because they gave me a ticket for parking on a ledge. It was not in the way or blocking any passageway. I don't think it's fitting for bikes to be parked on regular parking lots

Exactly. And i don't want someone to find their bike tipped over on hot old asphalt either.

But the fact remains that I have a job to do and there is basically motorcycle parking in the form of spaces that are too narrow for any car to get in that are even closer than the handicap spots. Do I give a rats ass if a motorcycle is on the sidewalk? Hell no. But I need to give everyone the spiel.

I think the only Mall I've seen had designated Motorcycle parking was Erin Mills mall & I applaud them for that

Just now, you were on a yellow BMW (F800S?) and I was on a black/silver CBR F4i. We had the same backpack on. Nice bike!

Saw a group of sport bikes at about 1:30am on DuPont heading west enjoying the empty roads!

A black SS of some kind (rain covered visor, couldn't see all that well) pulled up next to me when the 2pm rain came down. My gas light came on while on the 401 and I was just about to turn into the Shell at McCowan and Sheppard. Seemed to be friendly, figured I'd give him a sighting.

Some twat lane splitting for no good reason just now on Southdown heading towards highway. Almost caused someone to have an accident. Startled me also cause you were so close to my cage.

You: Green zx6r
Me: White cbr125 with a picture tube stuffed down the front of my black jacket.

Saw you on Tuesday (15th) riding behind me up Victoria Park to Steeles for quite a ways. Every time we came to a light, you pulled up beside me. It was nice riding with you and when you pulled ahead, I caught up and tagged behind you, for a little while at least. lol Munchkin did his best to keep up but I eventually fell behind. =D I was sorry to see you turn right on Steeles when I went left. I was tempted to keep following but I was taking a picture in to be framed. Nice bike. Hope to see you again.

I recently spent some time at a different office for my company and was impressed to see that their designated motorcycle parking spots are concrete instead of asphalt.

When: 8:50am Today (Thursday)
Where: Riding south on Weston Rd and then onto the 401 West
You: 2013 Ninja 300 Moondust Gray, Shoei GT-Air Black/Red, W passenger
Me: EXACT SAME HELMET AND BIKE

You have a good sense of style good sir :)

I've seen a car parked there. Can they get ticketed?

Yes and no. There's technically no "code" for double-parking, pregnant/mothers parking, "green vehicle parking" etc. But they can get "Park on Private Property w/o Consent" which is basically a catch-all ticket. $30

If it goes to court the only thing that needs to be proven is that the vehicle was parked on private property. Regardless of location on the property.
