I wouldn't be so sure of that. Looks like it can match a stock 328i.

I found different numbers but the 323i was still 7.7 which is higher than 5.6-6.4 for the Ninja.
 
Obviously, once the Ninja reaches 150ish, the Beemer is going to murderize it.

I've done 260 (legally) in a 330d. A frickin' diesel.

Fair enough. The fastest I've driven was in a diesel, too, 205 indicated.

The 330d has better performance numbers than the 323i.
 
Last night around 9, saw 2 guys riding black sport bikes (one Ninja and one CBR maybe) on highway 7 entering the 400 south. Dude, if you're going to blast past me right before the end of the entrance to the on ramp, don't take the ramp like a granny.

I hate it when someone blasts past you on the straights and then when you get to the fun part (corners) they drive/ride slow as hell. Seems to happen all the time. Don't see the point in speeding that excessively on the straights as that's just boring.
 
Um. we weren't doing a quarter mile race. we were already doing 140 on the 401.

Wasn't me but I wish it was. I sold mine and I miss her badly! 2.8 litre Vr6... She had some good pep in her step. Not spectacular to look at but a big set of balls. :)
 
frequently hear a crossplane r1 around morningside and ellesmere. love the sound, i aint even mad that you high rev all the time.

I think you mean, if I restricted my speed to 100kph on the 401, he could pass me, no problem?
