I Saw You: V.2.0

Saw a few brothers in arms stuck with me on the QEW coming back from Niagara during this heinous storm. I was lucky enough to run through the storm about three times!

To the gentleman I was behind for a bit in Smithville on a ninja 500, for the love of god and all that is holy, SELL YOUR BIKE AND NEVER RIDE AGAIN.

Why?

Saw a squid riding what looked like a 350 Rebel or something similar at Bayview and Sheppard yesterday. Normally that wouldn't be worth noticing, much less posting - every rider makes their own choices, whatever.

But when you ride with your young daughter (who looked like she was maybe ten) on pilion and she's squidding it too, that pisses me off. I know yesterday was hot out, but jesus, come on.

Was it a black and red one?
Silver I think. I followed him and his poor passenger through town. Riding in the far right track very close to parked cars, sometimes through empty parking spaces and the shoulder. All over the road, crossing the line at times. Riding with one hand the whole time, either right or left, one-handed over the double train tracks. Shorts, t-shirt, helmet. No gloves, just a big fancy watch. If you want to ride like an idiot and get car doored then be my guest, but that person on the back is just along for the ride.

Yikes! Hope it wasn't a member on the ex500 forum.

Maybe I should've put it this way, I was damn sure I was following an e-bike until I saw the exhaust.

These two clowns on the Gardiner about an hour ago. Nice natural leathers.

To the guy all in black on some sport bike passing 10 cars who I warned about cops on 6 this weekend.

You welcome for the warning and the room to pull in. And tanks for not only one but two thumbs up.
You must have been going 140ish. Would have been a nice ticket.

I wish they would, if that kind of stupid is prevalent in both parents, the kids don't stand a chance.

But hey, at least they were wearing helmets...*cough*

Why do you care so much about other people and their decisions? Give it up my dude your opinion is not going to change anyones perspective.

Ran into "skapan" and his significant other at the Forks, nice chatting with you.

And while we were there ... a female rider on a TU250 blew straight through the stop sign northbound without stopping, with lots of people and bikes and cars around. BE CAREFUL.

Behind two ss bikes coming from the 401 sb on the DVP, dudes, you may or may not have realized it, but the left shoulder you stopped on was a Go Bus lane, not a shoulder.

I've been wondering if those were a failed experiment or something. Twice now I've been on the DVP in heavy traffic and seen GO buses in the regular left lane and not that special "GO Bus lane". Not sure what's going on there...

I saw a GO bus in the GO lane on the DVP this weekend. I'm guessing busses aren't speed limited like trucks? That thing was flying and was on my butt in no time (I was stuck behind some traffic). Just did the highway loop around the city for fun. Wasn't worth it. I didn't realize how bad the Gardiner is.

Welcome to my world. On the other hand once you get past Spadina, The Gardiner tends to fly at rush hour.

I was on the QEW coming back from the US, finally decided to take cover at an underpass to call home, and put on my HiViz RainGear... spotted a group of GS and MultiStrada riders camped under the underpass as well. Decided to Continue on the QEW and the sun came out 10mins later. I was actually amazed that the traffic was going 100+ km/hr

Lots of chicks on sports bikes this afternoon downtown toronto..

I've been seeing a red Kawasaki ZX6R -(ninja) on the 401 EB for over a month everyday.... Kind of nice to know I am not the only one who doesn't lane split ... the aviator glasses looked hot btw :p

oh an the jacka*s squid who was lane-splitting yesterday, nice one, miss-shifting as you went by me showing off .... that was a great fail .. thanks for the laughs
