I Saw You: V.2.0

I hate this lame "but there's kids on the road" whine.

If you love your kids watch them, and for gods sake don't let them play on the road.

I have my dog trained to stay off of the road

ill bet money your dog will go after a stick i throw into the road....

Spoken just like a clueless person that doesn't have children. (besides the fact that you completely missed his point)

If people drive like that down my street Ill walk into the middle of the road with my hand up to stop them, then have a little chat with them about children who live on the street. If more people did the same maybe these types of morons might put two and two together.
I grew up off an 80 kph road that people went 120+ down. Never a problem because my parents taught me to stay out of the way of cars unless you want to get hit and probably die.

Im glad you were a very responsible child, but guess what, sometimes **** happens.

My children are also very responsible, and never cross the road without looking both ways. But as I said, sometimes **** happens, and when it does I would prefer if asshats were not tearing down my street at twice the speed limit.

She would not even pursue a squirrel off of the sidewalk.

I do have a son who's almost 11 y/o.

He never ran out on the road after anything because I taught him the dangers of doing so prior to letting him anywhere near the road.

I know it's quite politically incorrect to suggest that you bear responsibility if your child gets hit on the road but it's true 99.9% of the time.

Bringing "kids" into the discussion is a cheap shot I've seen many times by people like Shane who like to complain about speeders.

I believe the 100-150 in a 50 zone claim is most likely an exaggeration also, do you have a lidar gun?

Speeding riders are attentive riders and safer than the average driver on the road, to a point.

Worry about the distracted drivers doing 30 in a 50 zone, they by far are the greater danger.

I have a video of her chasing a squirrel and just as she about to catch it the squirrel darts across the road and she stops and looks back at me.

haha. well thats a well trained doggy

Not to derail this derailment, but I'm derailing this derailment.

CBR1000RR on Southwood Rd; hope you got your engine light sorted out. Shame about all the sand too.

Lidar gun? Oh, you are one of those kids who used calculator since grade 1 in what they call school in this country. I know the length of the street, and I know the time it took him to run the street. Holy crap.

DVP Sunday 4pm, three sport bike riders with back packs riding slowly on the left shoulder past the bumper to bumper traffic. My wife said "I hope they get a ticket". I asked why, she said because it's against the law. I asked why is it against the law.

Most cars can fit on the shoulder so why not just join them if there's no problem with it?

Vehicles stopped for emergencies. Emergency vehicle access. All the crap from the road that gets kicked onto the breakdown lane, that can tear up soft motorcycle tires......

Yeah I know there are reasons not to ride a motorcycle in it just like there are reasons why a car shouldn't drive in it.Orygun seemed to think there was no problem riding on the shoulder so I was asking why not join them with his car since it will fit, too. Neither one should be driving/riding on the shoulder.

Me, Southbound on Jane St. just about to get onto the 400/401 ramp on a CBR600 HRC edition. Yesterday at around 6:00pm ish.

You, Northbound on Jane St. on a CBR1000 Repsol edition. I'm guessing it was a litre bike because, when I did notice you at the last second, you were coming down from a wheelie, lol.

I waved at the last second. I didn't even see you coming, I was so focused on entering the ramp and getting a good lean. That was the best 'wave' that I have gotten on the streets so far. I wanted to turn around and join in on the Honda awesomeness :D

I stopped after I got a nail in my tire 2 years ago. So yes you are correct lol

Passed a group on Twyn Rivers this afternoon, about 8 people maybe? On what looked to be a variety of bikes, looked like fun! I was at the end of my all-day-skip-work-ride-a-thon!
