I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: Thanks to the squid

Was on the 403 yesterday near winston Churchill and two guys on 600rr's passed me on the right. Now no big deal right?

I was doing 125 in the left lane and they passed on the right over 140. They continued to lane hunt all the way down.

Guy was wearing no jacket, girlfriend or whatever on the back with no protection and little shoes or slippers or whatever. Same for second guy as well.

Ridiculous!

Now I dont care if you want to die, or lose all your skin but take of the person on the back. You make us all look bad. Morons!

ride your own ride.

btw, no mater what you think is a comfortable speed, if someones going faster, move over.

you're already speeding by 25 kph , complaining that someone else passing you makes you a hypocrite.

would you be complaining as much if they were in a car not wearing seatbelts ? lol

Re: Thanks to the squid

I'm sure this is not the last rant we are gonna hear about squids.. it's not even summer yet.. who cares, bare back or condoms.. it's their choice.. in the end they will live with the consequence.. next time ride with horse blinders if you can't take it in.

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

You guys rode through Kensington Market tonight (Friday night). You're a loud bunch, and while you guys have the SEXIEST cruisers ever, maybe you weren't aware that people in the market actually don't find the showing off by constantly revving your engines very sexy? It's more annoying than anything, although normally I'd be an exception since I adore motorcycles (duh).

Maybe try being a little bit more considerate? You can show off without being excessively loud.

:)

I saw these guys too.

Also saw this guy riding a GSXR 600 down at bloor and keele, he must have been about 25 or 30, and a 14 year old girl on the back. She almost fell off twice when he gunned it from a standstill because she was stretching or something instead of holding on, and then he ran the red to turn left down onto parkside, almost got smoked by a truck. Bet he had to clean some pee stains off the passenger seat.

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

Looked to be a girl on a Silver CBR on Erin Mills Road ( Near Erin Mills Mall ) turning left.
Today around 7pm ish...we exchanged nods.

Think your helmet had pink in it

Hey - that was me! :D

You. Cruiser, NB Pharmacy north of St. Clair.

Me, black Ninja. SB.

You waved. I nodded. But it was a pretty weak nod. Just wanted to let you know I didn't leave you hanging.

More spots: I'm on the white CBR125R

You: SB East Beaver Creek turning to EB Hwy 7 ~2.45
Me: WB Hwy 7 turning to SB Commerce Valley

And another apology to the rider going EB on Hwy 7 approaching Woodbine ~2.40... I think you waved at me while I was departing Woodbine going WB, but I didn't notice till the last minute and being a noob didn't know what to do lol.

One of these was probably me. I was at the same place, same time. Out for my lunch-time ride. I'm on a black Ninja, black helmet. If you see me in the future, wave

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

You two:

Black and Silver bikes, Hondas, I think - coming west bound on queensway towards royal york

Me:

Filling up gas for my Bella (white Duc), red helmet, black jacket with pink swirls at the Shell on the north side of queensway

We nodded as you drove in. Then you pulled both up behind me and we said hello. You waited as I nervously finished getting my gas.

Sorry for not saying anything else. I guess I should have taken off my helmet and said something. Working on my riding etiquette.

Will do--u work in the area? Pm me if u want to chill; there's a bunch of bikers at my company too.

Re: Thanks to the squid

If OP's already doing 125 what need is there for squids to pass anyway? Opp was out in force, some people never learn??
If you're doing 180 in the left, you don't need to move for anybody. At that point all bets are off:p

Its not his place to decide who needs to pass and who doesn't... nor is it his place to decide how fast other road users should be going. Its really rather simple. If faster traffic is approaching from behind, you need to move out of the way...

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

Spotted 2 bikes going Northbound on Hwy 10. 1 Red 1 Yellow.

Yellow did a Nice Wheelie by me. :)

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

There was a crew at Yorkdale today... Saw them by Fido, Shoppers, Pickle Barrel and elsewhere around the mall. I wasn't riding today though, unfortunately.

Reply not to you just to link my previous post!

I actually was in the left lane to pass and was going to go back into the right lane as I am a staunch keep right except to pass guy! But before I could do that these two idiots came up and went into the right lane.
Thanks for telling me how to drive but that wasnt the point.

Point was.................not all passengers are smart enough to know the inherent dangers of bikes. I would never take that chane. Yes they can screw up there own lives,(unfortunately my taxes have to pay for their medical bills. Which sucks!) but the lives of their passengers should be more of a concern.

The mere fact you missed that point worries me!

Actually its the riders insurance (AB) that pays.

Re: Thanks to the squid

You were on the wrong lane! Just because you are going 125 doesn't mean you can stay on the left lane, if they were passing you on the right it means there was space for you to be there and not on the left. People really don't know how to drive/ride.

If everyone used the left lane only to pass, traffic in Toronto would be so much better.

I don't like speeding although most see me ride say I'm speeding.

I figure if I stay in the right lane no one can complain I'm going too slow.
