I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

More spots: I'm on the white CBR125R

You: SB East Beaver Creek turning to EB Hwy 7 ~2.45
Me: WB Hwy 7 turning to SB Commerce Valley

And another apology to the rider going EB on Hwy 7 approaching Woodbine ~2.40... I think you waved at me while I was departing Woodbine going WB, but I didn't notice till the last minute and being a noob didn't know what to do lol.

Nice bike... Thanks for the thumbs up...

A lot of bikes around Times Square (Richmond Hill) tonight... Heh, sorry I didn't stop to say hi--was late to meet up with friends...

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

spotted two ducati monsters cruising southbound on the 400 towards 401 last night at 11pm. I was in my cage.

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

You guys rode through Kensington Market tonight (Friday night). You're a loud bunch, and while you guys have the SEXIEST cruisers ever, maybe you weren't aware that people in the market actually don't find the showing off by constantly revving your engines very sexy? It's more annoying than anything, although normally I'd be an exception since I adore motorcycles (duh).

Maybe try being a little bit more considerate? You can show off without being excessively loud.

:)

Looked to be a girl on a Silver CBR on Erin Mills Road ( Near Erin Mills Mall ) turning left.
Today around 7pm ish...we exchanged nods.

Think your helmet had pink in it

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

You: today, ~12:45pm NB on Avenue (south of Eglington?) pulled over at the women's college (and dismounted) with your old-school small-displacement Triumph

Me: flipped a U'ee to see what assistance I might provide, but by the time there was a break in traffic for me to do so you were just getting back on and took off (you might want to consider more appropriate footwear, though)

--

You: driving EB/WB on Lakeshore in Toronto/Mississauga on a sportbike/cruiser/dirtbike/1up/2up (Where do you store all those bikes? and how did you get back in front of me so fast? And why do you have so many different helmets?)

Me: driving WB/EB - I waved (or nodded if I was covering the clutch), you did/did-not wave/nod

BTW, nice bike!

Thanks to the squid

Was on the 403 yesterday near winston Churchill and two guys on 600rr's passed me on the right. Now no big deal right?

I was doing 125 in the left lane and they passed on the right over 140. They continued to lane hunt all the way down.

Guy was wearing no jacket, girlfriend or whatever on the back with no protection and little shoes or slippers or whatever. Same for second guy as well.

Ridiculous!

Now I dont care if you want to die, or lose all your skin but take of the person on the back. You make us all look bad. Morons!

Re: Thanks to the squid

If the girl on the back is an adult she can make her own decision whether or not to wear gear. And maybe they wouldn't have had to pass you on the right if you weren't hogging the left lane? It doesn't matter if you're going 120 or 180 in the left... if faster traffic is coming up, you need to move out of the way. If people actually abide by these rules nobody would ever have to hunt through lanes because the left one would always be open for faster moving vehicles.... but thats a wet dream. :(

Just one correction: you need to move out of the left lane regardless.

Re: Thanks to the squid

If you're not passing anybody, it's a good time to move out of the left lane. Yes. Unfortunately with the amount of traffic we have, it's not always possible to constantly move right every time you pass a car, because you're gonna be passing every 2 seconds.

Some common sense is required.

If OP's already doing 125 what need is there for squids to pass anyway? Opp was out in force, some people never learn??
If you're doing 180 in the left, you don't need to move for anybody. At that point all bets are off:p

What is this thing you call "Common sense?"
Must be something new.
Please explain "I no speak verry good Henglish" lol

You were on the wrong lane! Just because you are going 125 doesn't mean you can stay on the left lane, if they were passing you on the right it means there was space for you to be there and not on the left. People really don't know how to drive/ride.

If everyone used the left lane only to pass, traffic in Toronto would be so much better.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read the other posts of people saying the same thing, glad most of you agree.
