I Saw You: V.2.0

Red Daytona 675 headed eastbound on Kingston rd. 2-uping.
Never realized how silly a go pro looked on top of a helmet 'till I saw you.

Red Daytona 675 headed eastbound on Kingston rd. 2-uping.
Never realized how silly a go pro looked on top of a helmet 'till I saw you.

This actually made me laugh out loud:D

To the couple that stopped and helped out my friend on the QEW eastbound by Guelph Line this afternoon....Thanks so much for all your help and making a potentially dangerous situation much safer!!!

Thought it was pretty funny, on our group run out to the Falls yesterday I noticed cruisers parked at every Tim Hortons we passed.

When we finally stopped at one ourselves (coffee/lunch break), the cruiser group that was there when we arrived...was still sitting there when we left to get back out riding! Summer's ending, get on the road and RIDE people :D :laughing8:

Overall, it was nice to see so many people out yesterday with their bikes.

place - hyw 7 & 404 at about 3pm this sunday... on the 25th i think it was?

me - black ninja driving by an intersection with construction

you - girl sitting on a white ss bike.

I loved your bike, it was sick. I didn't catch what kind it was though.

To the CBR125 Rider in Waterloo....

Monday, Sept. 26, 5:45 pm.
King Street, Between Conestoga Mall and KW Honda
Me - Blue Ford Ranger Pick Up Truck
You - White CBR125, White Helmet, Khaki Green sweater/wind breaker, Black track pants, black back pack..

[rant/]
JACKASSES like you are the types who give bikers a bad name.
Not only did you cut me off with about 4-5 feet between my bumper and your tail, you forced your way between 4 other cars in a series of dangerous passes. Each time you switched lanes you cut a car off, and forced them to brake in order to ensure your safety.

Now move south down King Street a bit to Manulife. Not only did you move into the left turn lane at a red light without and intention of turning left, but when the light turned green the car you were beside started moving forward, expecting you to turn left -- you attempted to merge in front and had to slow down to get in behind the car so as not to cause an accident.

Move farther south down King street...

You have no concept of proper lane position and consistently wandered all over your lane. Turning left onto Weber Street you just about low sided after what appeared to be a severe wobble for no apparent reason.

Truly sad... I really wished the lights would have cooperated and had me stopping beside you so I could tell you to wake up..

Go to a school... take as many courses as possible... or even better GET OFF THE FREAKING ROAD YOU MORON!!!

Sounds like Darwinism at work. Things will work themselves out just let them take their natural course.

Re: To the CBR125 Rider in Waterloo....

Whats with everybody whining that everybody else is giving motorcyclists a bad name? Youre whining gives you a bad name, who cares about everyone else? You're not going to generalize an entire category of people based on one person. If you do, you're a big enough of a dolt that your opinion doesn't matter. The fact you made an entire post to demonize this guy, who is likely not even on here, makes everybody else who drives a Blue Ford Ranger Pick Up Truck look bad.

Furthermore, if he was riding a 125 as poorly as you outlined, he must have been a new rider. If he wasn't, then he was a poor rider. If you were less of an angry person, you would be more sympathetic to the rider. Clearly, you've never made mistakes before, and for this I applaud you. For everything else, you make us look bad.

To the downed rider on the westbound Warden on-ramp around 9:30; newer black CBR (600?): glad you're ok, only minor cosmetic damage and a bent brake pedal. You couldn't have had better company following you. :p

Almost went down there a while back due to some slick paint on the ramp, and now there's a bit of sand left over from the construction lately. Sad cuz it's otherwise a fun little ramp normally. Ride safe all!

To the dumbass who lane split me on the west bound gardiner tonight on my way home. Im not gonna list the bike or more specifics cus you were respectful enough to go past cautiously and at a speed hardly faster than we were going. Your lucky I was in my car and on the phone (using headset and both hands on the wheel for those interested)... I was soooo tempted to roll down the window and yell at ya to please be safer than that.

Im sorry but that was dumb. I really hope you made it home safe. And please be careful. I tried to give you more room in my lane but intrepids are wide boats.

Well, there's a chance that he's on this board and will actually wake and consider the consequences of his actions. If the drivers around here were not alert enough to his actions, he would have been in an accident.

Yes, he was riding as poorly as I outlined. If somebody in a car was driving this way I would have called 911 to report an impaired driver - that's seriously how bad it was.

I am very sympathetic to new riders - in fact, an acquaintance of mine recently purchased a bike and took the course... she had questions later on and asked me about them - I dug up the MTO book and went over it with her. Several other people she rode with gave her horribly false information (i.e. when 2 people are riding together they should always be side by side). None of the suggestions given were of my opinion - straight from the book.

I'm not an angry person at all as you say -- quite the attack on my personality. Bravo!
I have made thousands of mistakes, and each time somebody calls me on it, I will admit it if they can provide evidence I am clearly wrong. Everyone's opinion of doing wrong varies - that is simply human nature.

So, in turn, Araqiels, I give you an ovation for making generalized accusations without being a witness. Hopefully you will be able to tell somebody they are riding in a life threatening manner out of sincere concern for their well being.... if you can't, maybe you should run for government or start running everywhere waving scissors in the air. *insert smart a** grin here*.

As for making us (I'm assuming motorcycle riders) look bad by saying somebody was driving in a fashion which will cause a potentially life threatening accident in the near future and saying needing riding lessons, that gladly, I will accept the moniker of being a "bad biker".

There are a bazillion threads on bad cagers. Time to treat bad riders and bad cagers equally.

I'm hoping my message will reach the rider who was riding so recklessly and hopefully they will consider modifying their behaviour, so that they will not be added to the "RIP/Fallen Rider" section of this website.

Same kind of rider as Lorraine Summerfield felt the need to apologize to? This kind of riding and the potential outcomes from it is a big reason why I don't wring my hands with rage like some here when it comes to car-bike crashes. So often the rider does much to contribute to the crash.

OP probably won't make generalizations about all riders being bad but I know a lot of car drivers do when they see **** like this.

If the guy is new, he should be being a lot more careful. Not riding like a retard. Sure, wobbling and whatnot would be a sign of being new but cutting off cars all over the place is just a sign of stupidity.

Re: To the CBR125 Rider in Waterloo....

This is right in my backyard.I'm pretty sure i've seen this rider doing his or her thing.Sometimes with a passenger. Some of you people worry too much.Nothing you can do about another riders habits.Just stay out of their way.

Without a video explaining this I don't think I can fully grasp how you feel about the situation.
