I Saw You: V.2.0

He really should mount that camera on his bike's windshield or dash and pointing back at his face so he can give live on-location video commentaries on his angst-of-the-day.
I just spewed coffee all over my desk at "angst-of-the-day".
You don't do funny often, turbo, but when you do, it's gold.

Sorry this is off topic, but if you were already moving (ie not stopped and approaching the light when it went green) and made the left turn when the light changed, would that mean that you wouldn't be violating this?

That's a pretty good question. Reading it, that sounds like a loop hole.

You might avoid being convicted of this charge, on a technicality, but be charged with it none the less. You would certainly be convicted on failure to give right of way charge.

I tend to think that the charge would be upheld though. This is an incredibly dangerous thing to do and I've had cars do this to me several times, while I'm riding my bike, and I've narrowly avoided nailing them each time.

Hi Rob,

I'm not condoning doing this, but just noticed the wording gives an out.

Of course, the real issue with the HTA172 is that if the officer thinks you are guilty you get punished without trial (license suspension, vehicle impounding) regardless of whether you are ultimately shown to be innocent.

Kingston road eastbound near Beechgrove, SV converted Streetfighter, looking real nice...

Idiots under estimate how quickly a bike can take off from a standstill. Although I've had to jam the brakes a few times for cars while in my car because I tend to floor it off of lights as well, lol.

Yesterday at Yorkdale Mall at 9:00pm
YOU: red 675 ducati + Bunch of bikers
Me: red white black gsxr 600

I told you your helmet strap was off...
Then I took off to allen/401 exit while you and your gang of riders went south on yorkdale/allen road.

Sometime last week: In the heavy rain, a guy on a sportsbike riding down lakeshore at a slow speed, with a bar patio umbrella slanted forward like a rider on a horse with a lance, shielding himself against the rain. Kudos. Hope you made it back without the Mary Poppins trip.

I saw a white GSX-R riding down Brimley heading north towards the 401 ramp. LOVE IT!

About an hour ago: GS500F westbound on Steeles a few lights before the 404, we took the 404 south ramp together. Looks like you're enjoying your bike :)

The dedicated 250R parked in front of Canadian Tire on Danforth and Main...
I see your bike there, rain or shine, hot or cold... two thumbs up buddy!

To the cruiser riding down Kennedy south of Ellesmere around 10:30 this morning: Dude, it's a 60 zone, why were you holding back traffic rolling along at 40kph?!

Hope everything was ok. There was a car behind you that was tailgating you pretty hard.

+1 I see a blue 250r around there all the time, nice bike :)

Black Ninja (EX) 500 at Williams Parkway and Dixie at around 9:30ish this morning. Put your visor down! Unless you enjoy the taste of angry wasp or something.

Not really, dude is an adult and probably fully aware of what his visor is for. Don't think he needs anyone on a forum telling him when and why he should put his visor down:D

Get it?

In case you don't.... It would be like seeing someone with their jacket half zipped and telling them..." Zip your jacket up! Unless you enjoy catching colds or rocks to the chest or something."

Dude was riding with his visor up. Prime time to get some bugs in the face. Like, an angry wasp. Get it?

Some people just haven't had the pleasure of getting a bee or wasp in the face yet. It was a friendly reminder. Having a bad day or something? Besides, most adults I know act more like children. They're adult only in age.

If someone won't put their visor down and gets stung in the face (or worse yet, in the eye), then don't whine about it. I also have zero sympathy for road rash on wife beater clad riders. My philosophy: Want to make adult decisions about what you do? Fine. But don't whine like babies when you get hurt. You made your 'adult' decisions.
