I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: so its cool to run reds in the rain now?

I hate how the airplane officer seems so excited that he gets to impound the bikes! they just live for this ****!

Re: so its cool to run reds in the rain now?

It must be this particular weekend. I saw a CBR take off on his buddy by weaving between cars to get to the intersection of Broadview & Danforth (Taste of the Danforth - traffic!!!). I guess he couldn't wait. I also saw a cruiser with a female passenger come up the sidewalk of Pottery Road right back into the intersection. Well, Pottery Road is closed for construction until September. Go figure! It's examples like these that creates a poor perception of us.

Re: so its cool to run reds in the rain now?

Up here in Brampton the cops even blow through red lights, without cherries and sirens on no less. Hell, it's pretty much expected up here that if you don't blow through the red you'll get honked at. Isn't that the way all of the GTA is now?

Thats cuz we're all colour blind :p

Re: so its cool to run reds in the rain now?

Most downtown drivers don't stop at a red when turning right.

Re: to the hot chick on the little green ninja

I'm not at ATGATT evangelist - wear shorts if you want. But really - plumber butt is so *not* a good look on a motorcycle....

(DVP southbound at Richmond. My eyes were burning, so I didn't see the bike :)

most drivers anywhere dont.

One of my pet peeves actually, one day Im sure ill get rear ended because I actually stopped before I made my turn, and the idiot behind me thinks its just a free roll through.

Re: so its cool to run reds in the rain now?

That's why we have those people called cops. Leave the policing of our roads to them Ms. Atwood.

lol I carry this bad habit with me to Calgary. Than I noticed everyone stops at a red before turning either left or right.

You: white and blue gixx at the gas station at Islington and Queensway
Me: in my cage, just filled up on gas, and stupidly asked if you were ok....Sorry man, thought there was something wrong cuz I just saw you kneeling at the front of your bike...Just wanted to help a fellow rider. =) Hope you didn't get too soaked by the downpour which ensued.

**I don't know how to get rid of the Topic Heading "RE: To the hot chick on the little green ninja" LOL...sorry...**

a female rider with long blonde hair on some sort of cruiser bike, i have now seen u 3 times in my area ( Mcnicoll/Cummer betweeb Don Mills and leslie ) this past time we crossed paths at a 3 way stop, and you waved, nice bike

Re: to the hot chick on the little green ninja

To the dude in the green t-shirt and black shorts on the dark gray R6 riding on the Gardiner Expressway this morning: When you came onto the highway, I would have happily let you in. You cutting me off, wasn't cool. Try using your signals. But I understand you had places to go, and in a hurry as I watched you lane split your way eastbound. Then gray beard on the HD did the same thing as you. He was also wearing a green t-shirt. Is there a correlation between riders that wear green t-shirts and lane splitting? LOL! :happy3:

To the dude on the orange Hyosung 250, I felt bad for you. You resisted the urge to split around that jerk in the white Honda Civic who was in front of you, even though it seemed he was trying his absolute best to make you rear end him. If I could have gotten beside him, I would have flipped him the finger for you.

Me: zx6r
You: late model Black Gixxer 750
Where: Cawthra north bound, bloor light.
When: friday august 5, rush hour

Thank you for saying hi to me and complimenting on my bike. Very kind of you. Your 750 is pretty nice too

I could tell you were fairly new when you stalled the moto 3 times at the light, and were a little choppy on the throttle.

It was also very interesting for you to tell me you had just started riding and this was your 2nd day riding.

If anyone knows this person, please take him to an empty parking lot to practice launching, proper lane positions, and throttle control, preferably, on a less powerful motorcycle

Starting your riding career on a 140hp bike is bold, to say the least, and I hope you enjoy it like riding is meant to be enjoyed, but please, do take someone's instruction to help you, and please also avoid riding in rush hour, especially on a friday, where the only coherent thought in every motorist's mind is "home" and "beer".

thanks for reading.
