I GOT my SHOT

So, Shoppers said in their email please disregard this email if you've already received your first dose. Costco, gave me a link to unsubscribe from their wait list. When I did, it said that I was already unsubscribed. I'm not sure how other pharmacies manage their waiting lists.

A lot of my friends are signing up hard. Pharmacies are being flooded with requests by the 40-50 crowd as the 50+ is vaccine shopping. While I was waiting out my 15min post jab I heard the pharmacist at least 2-3 times on the phone:
‘It’s the AZ. No we don’t know when or if we will get Pfizer or Moderna, no I can’t put you on the list for those. Ok bye.’

reminds me of this...

I stand corrected than. Thought it was 50+ that could pick and choose.

EDIT: what I meant to say is thanks for snubbing AZ so there’s some for the younger 40+ folk that want it.

The threshold for being able to book through health agencies (thus Pfizer or Moderna) varies depending on where you are. It's higher outside of hot-spots.

My arm was really sore next day with the Moderna. And worse on day 3. I took a Tylenol and a anti inflammatory that morning before going to work and it was completely gone by lunch.

Zero side effects, rode to work and back the same day. I still have some leftover Mad Cow disease from the mother land kicking in my system from the 80's- so that could be the difference.
ah so you'`re not able to donate blood right?

We’re all unique so the after-effects will differ amongst us.
My wife and I got the AZ on Friday evening.
She had pain in her arm for a few days...I had none.
I felt off on Saturday. In the afternoon I felt warm for a bit and then had chills. Behind my eyes hurt only when I moved them fully left to right.
The wife felt better than I did.
Sunday was a bit more of the same but on a lesser scale.
Monday onwards has been great.

Allergy season was ramping up so that’s a factor in my case too.

Identical symptoms to yours. Started about 90 mins after shot up to about the 24 hour mark. The eye thing was the strangest.

Wife had no reaction.

I just spent the last couple hours doing some car maintenance. In the process, I forgot about the sore shoulder, and now it's gone. 27 hours since, as of right this moment. (I took the day off work just in case.)
