How is your bikes fuel Economy?

With my Vulcan 500 with mostly in town riding (about 20% of my riding is on the 401 during morning rush hour traffic, so pretty much stop and go here as well!) I'm consistently getting these stats:

4.36 litres per 100 km
53.9 miles per US gallon
64.74 miles per Imperial gallon (the proper Canadian gallon)

On the highway and back roads I get even better economy.

according to the spec, my 2004 gsxr600 has a 17L tank, and at 150km the fuel indicator light comes on. my gas mileage is pretty bad lol

i get 50-55 mpg on my '01 sv650s

between 240-250kms before the light starts to blink, think i have another 3 liters after that, so probably over 300kms a tank

cbr 600 rr

17 km to a lt on the highway

14km to a lt taking really easy in town

11 - 12km in constant stop and go. (or tearing to next light)

Pretty consistent at 5L per 100 kms or better. Best was 4.4 L per 100 kms. Not sure why I get better mileage at Timmies over Starbucks?

I wonder if anything is wrong....... 2005 Vulcan 800. Almost exclusively highway. Work nights, and ride 401 Westney to Bayview, and up to Yonge / Finch. total of 48 KM per night, zero traffic. 15.14L (4 gallon) tank. and I get just a touch over 100 Miles per tank. Basically 25 miles each way, I literally have to fill up every other day. Does anyone else have to do this? Incidentally, I don't ride hard, highway, avg approx 120KM/h. Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

So.... what's your fuel economy? in MPG or L/100?
Are you really using all 15.14 liters each fuel up? If so, 4 gallons per 100 miles is 25MPG.... but I doubt you are bleeding the tank bone dry.

I`m ashamed to say 7.85L/100km .I get a bit better mileage from my Civic SI .I thought I would be in the high 6.But I`m looking at a bigger from sprocket .The bike is really geared to low .

With out math lol

2010 6IXXER
15-20L tank
200-300km

It depends how I ride to and group rides rape gas mileage!

Haven't really been able to figure it out. I've only gone to reserve once and that was at 280 km. An other time I got to 290 and didn't even need to go to reserve. I usually fill up when others need to fill up and that is way before I need to so I have't been able to figure out the range yet.

Was riding with a friend and we had filled at the same time and done the same km's. At 200km she had gone to reserve and I filled up and only had to put in 10L. Oh and I have a 20L tank with the reserve.

Over 25,000 km :

average MPG 50.83
average KM/L 17.99
average L/100Km 5.56

Not sure what the MPG is, but I'm averaging 4.8 L/100 kms, fully loaded with luggage and big rider< 120 kms/hr. 2008 KLR with 685 kit, stock pipe

With a mix of city and freeway -- some bumper-to-bumper, but mostly off hours -- I'm getting 4.63L/100KM (50.8 MPG).
