hope this ***** burns in hell.. Woman 22 kills cyclist in hit and run

All these pedestrians/cyclists being killed.....does anyone know who's fault it was....???

All you hear about is the hit and run, and is wrong in itself, but who's fault is it that the person died?

I'm williong to bet 9-10 times it's the pedestrian/cyclists fault, I'd probably kill a few people every year if I wasn't paying attention to those idiots.

You would be wrong. In Toronto, fault is about 50-50 split between vehicle operators and pedestrians.

I like how she tried to hide the schools name...cute. Glad he called her out on it.

it’s ******** like this that shouldn’t be allowed. That school should have their license cancelled.

Take your client to Muskoka for a drive test when you and the client live in the GTA? License cancelled!

cheat on exam? License cancelled!

not to go too far off topic but this licensing system is a total joke.

and F that chick. Throw her in a cell and throw away the key.

'Only things shadier than towing companies are driving "schools"

Out of pure curiosity, anyone know the HTA violation here?

I ask because I’ve used the gravelled crossovers in the past. If I recall there are several on the divided portion of hwy 400 north of Orillia that are marked as turnarounds.

Really? I'll pay attention next time I head up that way but I thought all of them were marked as authorized vehicles only or emergency use only or similar.

No need Google maps street vew!

I thought HWY 400 was divided all the way up, but surprise surprise there are centre turnarounds. I know HWY 11 has intersecting roads which cross the highway directly, which could be used as turnarounds. The one above looks to be paved.

I would also add that if law enforcement doesn't use everything in their power to bend over the person that supplied her the car I will be very disappointed. If it was her family, they knew damn well what her situation was and I have no problem with them losing all of their assets.

An anonymous phone call to OPP would do wonders for an intoxicated driver. Just saying.

From my experience, dialing *OPP about drivers that are obviously extremely impaired get's you lip service and a hearty thanksabunch.

I've called twice in my life for erratic driving:
First time, I actually had OPP call me and ask if I'm still near the vehicle and where they are. It was a fight inside of a car b/w a man and woman and OPP was hunting the car down on the DVP and they ended up finding my car and pulling them over to stop the fight.

Second time I called for a vehicle that was moving in/out of the lane and OPP stated that a cruiser has been dispatched and they may call me back to see if I'm still near the car, but I never heard back and could see the flashing lights in my rear view mirror.

Mine have been completely opposite. Driving down concession 11 about a km from 6N behind a guy weaving in the middle of the road/opposite side/opposite shoulder. Called *OPP. They asked me where I was. When I said concession 11 they said it's not our jurisdiction and to call Hamilton Police. Told them I'm now 1/2 km from 6N and he's going to be in your jurisdiction in about 20 seconds. They said call us back if he turns on to 6N.

Second time I was driving south on 6N north of Waterdown. Guy was speeding up/slowing down weaving in and out of the center turning lane. Called *OPP. They asked for a description. I gave them the make/model and plate. They said they had a guy a couple of hundred meters west of Clappison's Corners heading east and he'd wait at the intersection for him. Got there, and no cop in sight. Buddy weaved his way down the escarpment and out on to the 403. Cest la vie.

Then there was the time I was on Plains Rd. W at the old intersection at 6N waiting for the light to change. Used that intersection enough to know that you don't go when the light turns green because the southbound traffic is always speeding over the rise over the tracks, and you wait for the traffic to stop first. There was an OPP on the opposite side of the intersection on Northcliff Ave doing the same. The light changed to green. Neither of us moved. A loaded single axle dump truck came over the rise at 100+ and slid through the red light, tires hopping and smoking. If either one of us had have gone on the green we would have been clocked. The cop drove straight through the smoke cloud and off on his merry way down Plains Rd. Zero ***** given. I have absolutely no faith in enforcement from the OPP.............unless it's me, and they have a radar gun in their lap. THEN they're on point. And usually smarmy about it.

FMJ said "smarmy".I have a whole lot of new respect for him.

For suspected impaired, use 911. For run of the mill douchey driving, I have used *OPP or the local police equivalent. Normally not much happens. I give people one mistake as we all have bad days, do something else dangerous and you get reported.
