So cop friend gets told don't pursue, disobeys orders and pursues, and then there's a road block? What?

This is not true, people really need to stop making "headline" statements just because they heard someone say it.It only takes 3-4 cops to shut down a highway and you'll never outrun the radio.
Sounds like it should be on TV Mondays at 8pm.
would you guys trust this link like its not a scam you will get what you pay for?

Keep in mind that simply having that device on your bike can result in troubles with the law.

That's why cops don't chase, adrenaline is a double edged sword and more often than not it does everything you don't want for smooth operation of a motorcycle.
But as noted in Macs story, if you're stupid enough to be pulling 200 at 2AM on the 400 series, it better only be for an exit or two lol
Umm I think you're thinking of 2 separate instances unless 2 identical fatal accidents happened on 400 and Major Mac and 404 and Major mac....
I'm pretty sure it was last year I drove by the accident on 400 and Major Mac when the rider rammed into the back of an SUV running from the cops on the off ramp.
..and the police know what to look for. In some divisions, this will get the book thrown at you, in others, the modern day equivalent of the Cherry Beach Express (look it up, this still goes on).
Went all the way through the Polygraph interview, then I lost the drive to do it after talking to ex-RCMP constables. I know I don't want to be a cop in Ontario though. Anyways, doing Resource Management/Conservation now and couldn't be happier than I was in Uni working Security jobs
Its an accessory for his PP7 and License to kill.. lolWhy do you even think you need this?

Didn't disobey, followed (albeit at speed) and paced, so that would mean no lights/sirens. He mentions that the guy didn't know he was there or a cop until he stepped out of the vehicle. You gotta read the WHOLE story.

That convo just affirms my conviction that cops are ****** bags
It is, if you like. Just sit down in front of your computer, call up Youtube, and watch an episode of to of the UK series "Motorway Cops." Occasionally they have bike chases, car chases, silent following, hidden plates, .......
Still the wrong statement on the 400 series, unless you are an idiot and decide to hang around the 401 while you are been chased for longer than a few min.The blanket statement largely applies to the 400 series. There are obviously exceptions to the rule and it goes back to my statement about having the stones and then having the skill.

But that has nothing to do with not been able to out run the radio
My point is what if you don't know you're being chased? Getting tagged by an unmarked car or by the YRP chopper isn't a stretch by any means nowadays.
I'm old enough that I don't have to look up The Pukka Orchestra. I'm also old enough to remember the issues involving the old Metro Holdup Squad.
..or the g8 summit.
