Have you ever thought about racing?

I almost bought ice tires for my MX bike last year...but then I didn't really know where to go ride it

Yeah... gotta go Eskimo North to remove any fears of falling through a lake with today's global warming climate.

I'd rather go snowboarding.

I'll be putting my studded tires back on the wheels this Thursday, when it will be nice and warm...they are kinda rough to mount otherwise.

Period 4 is the latest, officially 1989-with exceptions for like models so the 1990 Gixxer 750 & 1990 Cowie zx7, Ducati 900ss up to 1996

The beauty is that the periods do not roll forward every year, so you can keep running the same bike every year possibly forever. That saves a lot of time and money-both factors tend to push people out of Road Racing. Gotta love that era.

Recidivist and I are now proud owners of a ratty 89 ZX-7. I say proud, cause i finally managed to get him to buy something "team green".

Bike will need a lot of work, but the plan is try and have it ready for the Mosport vintage weekend.

Awesome!!!
Best vintage bike ever
I should have bought Steves (747) a few yrs back when I had the chance. One of my big bike regrets.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! First rule of Vintage is to aim for the 1st round so it ready by the 3rd... ;)

What's it need? (slipper clutch? :lmao:)

Team SOAR is planning on having 5-6 bikes at EVERY VRRA round this year. I also am proud owner of a new to me ratass ZX7 (again in my case as my old one still circulates in the VRRA) as well as a FZR400 and a FZR1000 (with a FZ750 engine) I have a commitment of another FZR400 and a OWO1 replica as well. The plan is to introduce a bunch of "modern" SOAR racers to the giggles of going old school.
We are coming for the Friday Endurance races and staying for the weekend to enter everything we can until all the bikes are either dead/crashed or we are just too damn tired to ride them :) Should be a giggle.

Too bad I sold mine and the owner put it back on the street, as it was a good bike overall. If it comes back up for sale, is there any interest in it?
