But sometimes inflicting harm can be for a greater good. Like if someone were to find their way into your house with bad intentions.
Because we live in a country with too many restrictions on legal gun owners where the unwashed masses are always shouting for more due to their fear of the unknown.
Well put! I tried to not do that but it seems like some people cannot accept shades of Grey. The argument is always to the extreme

It would seem that we've done things right here, when compared to the US. Statistically I don't think that there's any doubt. I know far too many otherwise reasonable people, who turn into foaming at the mouth idiots when it comes to gun control issues, both here and in the US.

It's easier to go after gun owners. It's harder to attack illegal hand guns being brought in from other countries across the border.
